Re: help please That calculation leaves me with an extra third of an RDSB, presumably I'll get a cash equivalent to that as well.I currently hold a BG share certificate.I presume they will send me an RDSB certificate through the post, with a cheque (as per dividends), I don't have to do anything.

Re: help please Hi FFThe deal is for 1 BG share you get 0.4454 Shell shares plus £3.83.That is the default option.If you chose all cash or all RDSB shares I think that's its still TBD what you will actually get.My BG shares are showing value as £0.00 today in AJ Bell - so I'm showing the scary amount of 100% loss (until the RDSB shares and dosh get added - I hope.....).GLAJG

Re: 29th febuary I did an "LKH" and sold one third of BG and purchased RDSB on Thursday after only considering the trade when I read LKH post.Seemed the only way to ensure the dividend and any sort of certainty in eventual holding.As to the rest am waiting to see what I end up with and how much and when I will get my hands on the cash!Lossmaker2

Helge bites BvB's hand off in his eagerness to accept the offer, and starts planning how to spend an amount which, if Bloomberg is correct could be as much as $43 million. $43 million! That's more than the entire capital value of my Shell pension ... and Helge trousers it for one year's work.It's chust not fair. The lucky, lucky bar stew ard![link] I do not begrudge him the money, though I do question whether a single person, other than a type Gates or the Jobber, can ever make SUCH a difference to the performance of a big listed company that he can be worth such an egregiously large package. BG was a massive supertanker cruising along very nicely thank'ee when Helge arrived. All he had to do was settle into the captain's chair, take hold of the wheel, and start gently pulling on the various levers. How hard can that be? So, farewell BG! Well, that's it, shipm8es. Over, finito, end of BG .... as an independent listed company.Welcome into the Shell Group! Of course, for many BG people, it'll be "welcome back" to the Shell Group LOL.I trust that Ben and Huibert (Huibert?) will be working their cotton socks off this weekend to justify the faith which Shell shareholders (or, in the case of your correspondent, ex BG shareholders) have placed in their ability to turn BG's burgeoning cash flow into a veritable tsunami of dividends payable on them additional 1.926 BILLION Shell shares which will be sat on the share register come Monday morning ...jaysus, that's another $3.2 billion (at $1.88 a pop) that Ben's gonnae have to cough up every year on top of whatever it was before.Piece of cake!LKH on the flybridge confident

Taken from HL When can I trade my Shares until? BG Group Plc Shares can be traded until close of business on 12 February 2016. When will I receive the consideration? If the Scheme is approved it will become effective on 15 February 2016 with the resulting Royal Dutch Shell Shares expected to be issued from 15 February 2016 and the cash proceeds expected on 29 February 2016.So 29th is pay day 💰💰💰💰💰

LKH I am going to wait the cash payment and then reinvest it back in RDSB if there is a drop in the RDSB SP (which in these markets is highly likely)
