Todays trades Not a significant volume today except for three very large sells - which didn't really push the price down either. Big spread too. Altogether an odd market. It almost looks like the MMs are expecting these large sells and are making the most of what seems to be a bit of a dim witted seller. I have to admit this seems like the worst possible time to sell, on the cusp of a proper decision date! If you've been holding this long, why sell now? It would have been better to sell a couple of weeks ago, when there was far more uncertainty, yet a higher price! Any theories?

I understand that BEM is likely to submit sooner rather than later (phew - they NEED to show willingness to resolve this to get the permit!!!)So the decision is NOT 30 - apologies, the last was a hasty post in my lunchtime! But the date to take it to the next step. My guess is the MI want this to happen, and my recollection is the CAB never opposed this. But everyone is very very careful about the decision, that it is the right one and every last box is ticked. Very important issue. So my position remains, THERE WILL BE A DECISION BEFORE SUMMER RECESS! Next part is this goes to CAB (and I understand they don't oppose? Correct me if I'm wrong), then MI issue the licence, assuming they agree. Two weeks each. If BEM pull their finger out, decision mid-May.Accompanying text reads:Mountain State gives Beowulf opportunity to supplement its application for Kallak with a deeper analysis of the impact of mining there would have on the reindeer in the World Heritage Laponia.The company will have one month and will be later than April 28 to submit any supplemental to the Agency.The background is that the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Heritage Board in a statement to the Mining Inspectorate said it did not think that the environmental impact assessment of the company's application adequately highlights the risk of impact on reindeer husbandry.Mountain State will, when all the documents Beowulf want to include in their application is received, send it to the provincial government to review it.When the provincial government has given its opinion can Bergsstaten decide on the mining company to receive a mining concession for the mining of iron ore in Kallak.If the Mining Inspectorate and the provincial government have different perceptions of yes or no to concessions sent the issue to the government may decideENDS

Decision day I see Asa has set 30 April as decision day. Not sure there will be much opportunity left to buy at these levels.
