Re: Great RNS Interesting to see the NPV about 1000x the current market cap. So long as future demand is maintained this should fly eventually.

Re: Tesla Battery Cheers Hobnob, Amur already on my watch list.C-o-D

Great RNS That will do me nicely. I have doubled up in my SIPP. How did some of the directors get away with buying shares in Cadence Minerals a day before this RNS given the size of ownership they have.Anyway, figures speak for themselves. With a relatively uncomplicated mine to create now, this should turn into a nice little earner. Tucked away now for 5 years minimum.

Re: Tesla Battery That’s also why I bought in here.Other major components of the upcoming battery revolution are Nickel and Cobalt, both of which are in abundance in the Far East of Russia, currently being discovered by Amur Minerals (AMC) worth a look

Re: Tesla Battery Yeah saw this, that why I think Bacanora will be a solid investment plus the massive automotive drive for electric cars.

Tesla Battery I presume this is good news for Bacnora: [link]

No news Why have Bacanora started drifting down with no real news? Anybody got any info?

RNS If the Orr Ewing clan decide to go legal it could be a protracted and expensive distraction.Changes to CEO and Chairman contracts would appear to be in anticipation of a potential takeover.Of more interest will be results of Feasability study due this quarter which should provide details of cost of production and hence likely future profitability.GLACheers,Chozza

RNS Not sure what to make of all this. I'm guessing the market will react negatively.

VW VW Accelerates Electric Car Effort With $40 Billion Investment -- UpdateShare On Facebook Print Max Bernhard and Nathan Allen Volkswagen AG plans to invest EUR34 billion ($40 billion) by the end of 2022 in a bid to become the market leader in electric and autonomous vehicles, the latest move by a major auto company to embrace what could be the future of the car.The German auto giant said Friday that most of the investment would be directed toward making electric and hybrid version of its models. The company has previously stated that it aims to electrify its entire portfolio by 2030.Auto companies the world over are ramping up plans for electric vehicles in response to tougher emissions regulators and the prospect that some countries could eventually ban the internal combustion engine."We are laying the foundation for making Volkswagen the world's number-one player in electric mobility by 2025," Chief Executive Matthias Müller said. "The entire automotive industry is facing fundamental changes in the coming years, which will provide great opportunities, but also require us to put in tremendous efforts. The spend on electric and self-driving cars is part of a broader direct-investment program worth EUR72 billion over the next five years. Neither figure includes about $12 billion that Volkswagen and its partners plan to invest in electric cars in China, as disclosed Thursday. As part of its pivot toward electrification, Volkswagen said it would remodel a plant in Zwickau, Germany, to exclusively manufacture electric vehicles. It also said it would concentrate production of its Passat vehicles at its Emden site and Golf models at its Wolfsburg factory.Despite the size of its investment plans, Volkswagen retained its target of lowering capital expenditure and development cost ratios to 6% of sales by 2020. For the third quarter of 2017, Volkswagen's automotive division reported a capex ratio of 6.3% and a research-and-development ratio of 6.6%.The company consistently out spends its peers in capital investment and development expenditure -- both in absolute terms and as a proportion of sales -- according to analysts at Evercore ISI. In 2016 Volkswagen spent EUR26.5 billion compared with EUR19 billion at Toyota Motor Corp. and EUR14.6 billion at Daimler AG.Write to Max Bernhard at [email protected] (END) Dow Jones NewswiresNovember 17, 2017 10:24 ET (15:24 GMT)Copyright (c) 2017 Dow Jones & Company, Inc.SAGE

Re: Breakout Observations only .... based on experiences which you no doubt share..........it seems that as soon as a 'breakout ' is mentioned, or any ramping etc,....or even over-zealous comments...are mentioned ..... guess what happens ?....(someone is listening )SAGE

Re: Breakout Given the relative ease with which lithium is mined and the almost doubling of lithium prices in the last year, i think this share has a long way to go and offers great value. One to tuck away for 5 years.

charlus 09 Nov 2017

Re: Breakout Very happy to see price reflecting recent positive announcements. Whilst very true that rapid rises can end in equally rapid falls there are a lot of companies out there with enormous market caps that have never turned a profit. Uber being a prime example with a market cap of about $50bn.We are priced for jam tomorrow of course but I for one am very comfortable with progress being made.GLACheers,Chozza

Re: Breakout £140m market cap seems expensive for a non profit company i would advise caution here as a pullback is inevitable.

Breakout Great to see it getting over £1 and staying there. I think it's had a prep at this level before but wasn't sustained. Onwards and upwards!
