Zac Mir Hi allThis may help you see where our pricing is currently at and where it will go over the short to medium term enjoy[link]
Re: Pricing I think it was a delayed tried was it not for 600,000 shares?
Pricing Slightly confused as last trade on here and Barclays is showing as 14.25p on Friday. However, on the AVO website it shows as 16.10p, up 2.10p on the day at 4.25pm....?
Re: Today' rise - AVO news I agree but is the price we will go for? Beaufort have it as a spec buy with a target of 18p but what is it actually worth at today's price and shares in issue Market Cap is about £144m.We know they've done a deal for $40m for a basic machine with more for customisation, the issue will always be how fast can they build the product but lets say they can build 10 a year that's about 400-500m. Question then is what is the base price? let's say mark up is 30% 400/1.3 = 307 therefore profit for the year $93m500/1.3 = 385 profit = $115mWith only a 10% margin$36m - 45mThey still have a high Debt Gearing but they could well break even in a few years when they start to knock out a few more.So 15p at today's price does look cheap even with a small mark-up of 10%. Potential is massive, but it is speculative as the technology needs to be proved. If it is then I'd expect that they'll be bought by a big boy, as they'd have a better supply management chain and knock out more of the product.Question still is what are they worth? I think in the short to medium term we'd be looking at 20p maybe even 25p. Once the order book starts filling then you could be as high as 30p. But the product needs to be proved, if there are issues the sp will tank...I'd be interested to see if there's some good analysis out there of something comparable? Maybe MRI scanners is a good example? Although the cost is pretty small these days I'm sure when they initially came out they had a big price tag. Even saying that the principles will be the same and some analogy could be derived. If I get some time I'll take a look.GLA
Re: Today' rise - AVO news long way to go this one. steady as you go.
Re: Today' rise - AVO news Investors realising the potential hence todays morning trading already up 28%.
Re: Today' rise - AVO news In case colleagues want an explanation for today's rise:[link]
hi I take my hats off to them,,, any life saving treatment is worth investing in
Re: Today' rise Looks like you may be right. Cheers, frog in a tree.
Re: Today' rise Leaky leaky more like Taken profits given huge rise this morning ~ +60%+
Today' rise It looks like today's excellent news about the child AK's recovery from his brain cancer is the cause of today's rise. His treatment combined chemotherapy with proton radiation of the kind that AVO is involved in. If there is good evidence that this treatment was a significant contributor to clearing the cancer from AK's brain then there will be pressure for the NHS to build up its capability in this field. All this is good news for AVO and for potential cancer patients.CheersF
So much for being a debt free company why announce this a few months back then go do the opposite,,strange
hi They are booked sounds like a last minute train fare...at the time of this announcement the share were over 4p.I respect your explanation and reason for it...am l biter no ...the product saves lives and that can only be a good thing
Re: hi What you describe sounds like a share option scheme. In these schemes shares are booked at one point and then some specified number of years later the employee has the option to buy at the pre-booked price (even if the sp has risen massively), or they can decline. It is perfectly fair and lawful and if it is part of an incentive scheme it theoretically alligns the employee's interest with those of the company.CheersF
hi No one grudges any one running the company shares but why do they not pay the going rate on the shares instead of a nice little discount . Once again get on the gravy train
