Re: RNS I think it will drop a little bit more but great idea Good Luc
Re: RNS Dont knock a gift horse in the mouth never thought id see this price again just took advantage and doubled up
RNS I expect the sp to be marked down for a few daysTSX : AUEAIM : AUE NEW LIBERTY TEMPORARILY SUSPENDS GOLD PLANT OPERATIONSAureus Mining Inc. ("Aureus" or the "Company", the TSX and AIM listed West African gold producer, reports that operations at the New Liberty Gold Mine ("New Liberty" have been temporarily suspended as a consequence of problems with the detoxification circuit in the process plant. The detoxification circuit has not been operating to original design specifications resulting in higher concentrations of cyanide WAD (weak acid dissociated cyanide) in the process effluent. The Company had therefore been operating with process water in a closed circuit (zero discharge from the Tailings Storage Facility ("TSF"). Recent heavy rainfall inadvertently resulted in a small overflow of effluent from the TSF onto the wetlands area (within the mining lease area). Aureus is conducting remediation work to rectify the issues in the detoxification circuit and to manage future water discharge from the TSF in order for operations to recommence in the near future. The Company's investigations to date indicate that there has been no adverse impact on any human settlement as the discharge took place within the mining lease and some five kilometres from the nearest settlement. However, further investigations are in progress and in view of this leakage, a decision was taken to suspend processing operations on 7 May 2016.SRK Consulting (UK) Limited ("SRK", are on site at New Liberty assisting Aureus engineering staff with the evaluation of the adjustments to be made to the waste neutralisation section of the detoxification circuit and the management of water discharge from the TSF in order for processing operations at New Liberty to recommence.Aureus and Bea Mountain Mining Corp. ("BMMC", a fully owned subsidiary of Aureus, are co-ordinating work with the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia ("EPA" and the Ministry of Lands, Mines and Energy ("MLME" and local downstream communities in order to mitigate against any environmental related risks. The EPA is in the process of reviewing and approving the proposed remediation work required to rectify the detoxification circuit and to manage future water discharge from the TSF. Approval from the EPA and MLME is required before gold processing operations can recommence.During this temporary suspension of processing operations, the Company is taking the opportunity to effect a mill reline, undertake other preventative engineering maintenance and repairs (all of which were previously scheduled) as well as modifications to the detox circuit proposed by the expert consultants. Furthermore mining operations are continuing at New Liberty in order to build up ore stockpiles and undertake waste stripping. Re: Gold Price on the move again looks good for closing the gap at 14p
Re: Gold Price Bought a few this morning, I will have to wait for this one to go up in time. I see the price of gold has gone back up. Loadsadough
Re: Gold Price Just spiked up $30 on dovish fed
Re: Gold Price Bailed out yesterday to bank profits. Was hoping for news by now as this company should be re-rated. May have made a big mistake doing this, but it will now be caught in the gold producers sell off if the POG takes a breather. Will be back in should the S.P. go below £0.05p. but am happy with a few thou extra & wont be complaining if the share rockets in the next few days. The company estimates that the total cost of obtaining the gold is around $850 ~ 900 per oz, so will still be making a decent profit for years to come at current POG.Hope you all get very wealthy soon......
Gold Price Gold price has taken a bit of a battering but is still holding up above the 1220 old resistance/current support and is at present at 1232. Still holding here and also PAF and AAU. Hope rising gold trend picks up and continues. GLA
Re: Goldilocks and the 3 bears should be in profit at this gold price
Re: Goldilocks and the 3 bears one can only hope the debt deferment terms are reasonable and the cost does not stand in the way of making a decent margin. we probably wont know for some time, since turnover means very little, when you are seeking profit.
Re: QE True, never trust a man with a beard my Mother used to say, or even more, a woman with a beard...Think Corbyn was put into this position to try & convince people that Labour has gone back to it`s old roots. Unfortunately, times have changed & future politicians have to move with the times & change their way of thinking. You know what you are going to get from a Conservative government, but the normal working person who fell for the promises of Cameron are now paying the price.I don`t want Corbyn as the leader at the next election as well. Bring back President Blair until a decent Labour leader can be found...
Re: QE True but to get out of the Tories means we have to have Corbyn in and that is never going to happen. They need to get rid of that clown and get someone decent in.
Re: Goldilocks and the 3 bears I agree to a certain extent but surely that is now historic data, do you suspect that there are still problems? I personally think that the rise in gold will continue when you look at what is going on and have little time for worry about what has gone. Maybe I have missed something but I do try and stick to the here and now. GLA
