We should have been in prime position to take advantage of an upturn in gold price, but the processes failed, followed by cash flow issues. The fall out is plain to see. Re: QE The ECB is going to collapse. There are no other options left. QE has not worked anywhere in the Western World. On top of all the money borrowed from the IMF & the austerity measures, all the pain has been felt by the normal working person.Look at the U.K. The majority of people are in massive debt, un-secured low paid jobs & ridiculous house prices that will take all their free cash up to pay off.How people say we are better off in Europe confuses me. How much S^%t do you need to eat before you realise that you are being fed the stuff by the bucket-full.Get out of Europe & get out the Conservatives....

Re: Goldilocks and the 3 bears Held up well considering the bloodbath Today. As well as the profit takers, there was the usual panic sellers. Bought into this one because they have got a productive mine on-stream in the face of devastating issues that they have had to face. Yes, the company has had to borrow lots of cash to get there & dilution, but this shows to me that the Management are competent & that this is a Company that will do well if the POG dosn`t bomb again.Could have taken a few grand profit, but am going to stay with this one a while longer. 6 Months should see the true potential.

Re: Goldilocks and the 3 bears Not just AUE also AAU,CEY,PGD,SOLG,GDP and probably others. There has been a drop in Gold spot price today but it appears to be holding up well above 2500. I suspect profit taking all round when you consider the rapid rise so far this year. I believe that we have much further to go what with our political and fiscal turmoil etc. I am continuing to add across pm companies until there is a definite trend change GLA. ps are you invested here fortunas ?

Re: Goldilocks and the 3 bears I agree the gold issue has now been resolved, but the series of poor news flow contributed to the significant fall in the share price. IF the share was properly linked to the price of gold, it would not be so low, as it is poor process messed it all up. There is no getting away from that. As you will note the sp is actually falling again and so this tells us the market does not like it that much. Poor performance often has a way of repeating itself.

Re: Goldilocks and the 3 bears The 2nd March RNS states these issues resolved, 9000oz in Feb, do the maths,of course this share is linked to the price of Gold ! Anyway I am still buying especially as the weak hands/day traders have given us such an opportunity ! dyor etc GLA

Re: Goldilocks and the 3 bears looks like the strength of gold is not linked to this stock at all even though they are in commercial production..................clearly, the mistakes when going in to production have proved rather costly and the management should be brought to task, particularly for the poor execution of process for gold extraction. Okay, perhaps one cannot blame them for the ball mill, but the gold extraction process should have been tested and refined properly well in advance.
