Is anyone here? The Astor case ruling will come sometime fairly soon. No one knows when exactly, it will just come out of the blue. The company is making good progress. We will get the Q2 update in a few weeks and we will also get a resource update. SBT
Is anyone here? anybody know what News we are likely to expect soon? Cant seem to do any research on this site now,the old news section was quite good We dont seem to have heard much on Astor recently either, its a shame Smallholding has gone to JPL - which is a very poor investment at present-he gave good info and packed his bags just before we took off
Is anyone here? SBT. It’s a dreadful new site to try and navigate (IMHO) and I’m currently looking for an alternative, more user friendly interface. If anyone can recommend one then please let me know. Why they had to ‘improve’ it (sic) in this way is beyond immediate comprehension. GLA. Mink
Is anyone here? I’m trying to stay here but most posters have gone. ii win, they have seen off the ‘freeloaders’ with no investment accounts with them. I’m guessing, that can be the only rational explanation for this move. The trouble is quite clear; the people who developed this site have never invested their own money and don’t use VP sites and therefore have no idea what the average VP customer wants. It’s a bit like sitting a blind person down and asking them to paint the Mona Lisa. Anyway, here is one of the latest post on the LSE board from Catchingpidgeons. Afternoon fellas well I may be well off beam here but I think that with the share price having stabilised around the current level combined with the fact that virtually all the sales at 257 or 257.3 keep getting snapped up by a buyer would suggest it may be set for another step forward anytime soon especially as the long awaited resource and reserve estimate should finally be with us across the next 2 weeks or so … I mean 2-3years of exploration with all the hi tech devices available to identify the main target areas -the main investors stumped up the cash quite readily … halfway thru the ramp up to 15m tons of copper pa and with the price only likely to go higher in the next few years …a no brainer in truth so it’s a tricky call selling any serious numbers even at 257 but as always I guess time will tell … All the best fellas & enjoy this sunshine END I’m guessing most people are at LSE or ADVFN (I hate the layout but they have a busy board) Hope we get people back here but I can’t see it, those that post a lot have left and the reader, those that enjoy other comment, probably the silent majority will gravitate to where the poster have gone. AIMHO
Is anyone here? Yes I am still here, just, what a dog’s breakfast, lost chart and RNS features and is now slow and cumbersome.
Is anyone here? Guess not. Still trying to work out the reason why it’s been messed with.
Demands at Escondida hi, finally back on BB- i was Alanadale , laptop went down at Christmas so couldnt get back on ii, ATYM are flying at 250-60 region hopefully ready to launch up to 300 so most LTH will be in profit. Same Smallholder left as we went up, he is on JLP which has been pretty bad. Copper price is now 2,20-30 region so good profits should come through AND yes site is not good
Demands at Escondida Hello,
Is nayone here? Anyone still using this site?
Re: Demands at Escondida Great find. Added to the current $/ exchange rate I'd wager the company, right now, is more profitable than it has ever been.SBT
Demands at Escondida [link] jumped 3.7% in New York on Tuesday to trade at $3.25 a pound ($7,165 a tonne), the highest since end-February, as worries about supply disruptions in key producing region resurface.Workers at the Escondida copper mine in Chile put down quite a marker in the third round of contract negotiations with part-owner and operator BHP.The union is demanding a one-time bonus equivalent to 4% of dividends distributed to BHP shareholders in 2017.That works out to about $34,000 per worker. It would be the biggest bonus payout to mineworkers ever in Chile. The union also wants a wage increase of 5%, which is more than double the inflation rate in the South American nation...."
Re: Exercise of Warrants Apologies! I completely misread the price (too busy counting the pennies not the pounds!). Sorry for any confusion.
Re: Exercise of Warrants They are not paying the current price they are paying 142.5p as clearly stated in the RNS. I would expect them to sell fairly quickly, once they are tradable.LFG
Exercise of Warrants "Atalaya Mining plc (AIM:ATYM, TSX:AYM) has received notification for the exercise of options over 262,569 ordinary shares of 7.5p in the Company at an exercise price of 142.5p per share. As a result, the Company has received proceeds of £374,160.83."I don't know if they had limited time before the options expired, but its interesting someone is paying effectively the current share price for options. A good sign anyway.
Re: Peel Hunt Canaccord are on 350p ,that's better !
