Dont miss the bell tomorrow on this one Ten weeks in to strategic review and the sp suddenly jumps 12%, all this afternoon… This morning AST was DOWN… Well worth keeping an eye on I think. All IMHO.

Ascent up 9%. 10 weeks in to strategic review. News? Highest climb in several weeks I beieve. All IMHO.

Standing on it's own two feet and waiting for a jv or bid Ascent has gone from a Company in dire financial trouble 2 years ago to a Company generating a small profit from the two wells. I did not vote at the AGM but those who did have barred the board from doing a placing without first getting approval from the share holders. Looks like it’s time for Ascent to stand on it’s own two feet rather than tap the shareholders for money to run the Company and possibly expand. The board now know they have to be very careful with the money generated by the wells. It’s game time. Also the potential jv investors will know that, unless the board get approval first no placing can happen. Everyone knows where they stand. Now we find out whether that data the 10 plus Co’s have been looking at is interesting enough for a deal to be offered, or even a bid made. It has been NINE WEEKS since the RNS about the strategic review. Two weeks to get organised etc. so around SEVEN weeks since the first Co’s looked at the data. It can’t be long now. Worth noting that Ascent can stand on it’s own two feet as is of course. It is making a profit now. All IMHO.

AGM meeting. All sounds ok to me. Was always Surprised you’re not on the 3%+ list green root ! You should, you know. If I could guarantee a bag, I’d bet the house on it. Why aren’t you doing the same if you’re so sure? TP

AGM meeting. All sounds ok to me. Was always Worth noting the strategic review RNS was 17th April. So the 10 plus Co’s that have been to see the gas field data have potentially been looking at it for 7 weeks. Acent are looking for a jv partner OR if the price is right a takover. Any takeover would have to be 2p or more per share IMHO. Current ask 0.95p. Not long to wait now it seems. All IMHO.

AGM meeting. All sounds ok to me. Was always going to drag on some more weeks. Colin already told us that. Good there are TEN plus Co’s looking at the data. I’m amazed. I was thinking 4 or 5 tops. At the end of the day the Company is IMHO making a profit each day that goes by. We have the rock steady well 10 @ 1.2 mmscfd plus well 11a @ I guess similar. So now well 11a is back on line we should be banking a clear profit again whilst waiting for potential offers from the TEN plus Companies that took interest in the stratagic review. Disappointing the reply to the IPPC license won’t be sent back (I read on other post so assume true??) until end of this month but that is just 2 weeks. Geoenergo are dealing with that so I’m not surprised frankly. I’ve always wondered whether they are partly to blame for the delays in getting permits. WE ARE NOT GOING BACKWARDS! All IMHO.

AGM this Monday. Presumably the sp rise is Agms are not usually a vehicle for news announcements. The RNS system is used for that. There may be an RNS in the form of an AGM statement. But who knows with this lot? TP

AGM this Monday. Presumably the sp rise is speculation about potential news at the AGM on Monday. Obviously there will be an update. Bid? JV? Strategic investor? IPPC permit? Other permits?? etc… Lots of potential news that is for sure.

Up 11.4%. AGM Monday. Strategic review in progress and AST is up for sale for the right price. Also looking for jv partner. Has been going on several weeks. AGM Monday. may be news?? All IMHO.

If well 11a can deliver same as >> before again that would be rather good news of course. I'm no expert but the problem was too much water and with the 2 separators (listen to podcast) Colin says the water issue has been overcome. So it remains to be seen if there is still what........... about 1.2 mmscfd coming up the pipe with the water! If we can get back to around 2.4 mmscfd per day per month (from the 2 wells combined) we would be back to where we were (less the cost of renting the 2nd separator).This IPPC permit, really what can one say. Insane? Crazy? Corrupt? Once again the permit is in the pipeline (excuse the pun). LOL! The pipe must be coming from New Zealand.All IMHO.

Re: Ascent sp UP 3 DAYS IN A ROW New Slovenian Gov't are talking about attracting foreign investment which also means sorting out their slow bureaucracy.Watch this space.Now CH get the on the phone and keep up the pressure on their Environment Agency.IPPC news is due, IMO.Do not wait for Geoenrgo to progress matters.Also get on the VOX....GLA.

Re: Ascent sp DOWN 3 DAYS IN A ROW It's not going to work like that Discoste unfortunately.Because...................since the announcement of PG11 we have had the CEO on public display advising that PG10 is at its maximum safe capacity, a very clear threat that, should permitting or investor funding not come through it's going to be a shut up shop job and elections in Slovenia which encouraged 25% of the electorate to vote for protectionism. (Well done to them incidentally).Add that to the very distinct possibility that the hydrate problem may still not go away and,as TP points out, signs that PG10 is possibly in decline already, then as far as I can see under the current circumstances there is very little indication that the SP will go anywhere except where it's not wanted.Two possible saving graces as far as I can see - a heavy investor with O&G background and the arrival of the IPPC ticket, the latter of which would encourage quite a few more of the former to pay more serious attention I'm sure.Until then it's going to be coasting along going no-where until such time that PG10 has no option other than a workover - and I suspect that, without the IPPC the whole shabang will be closed down - who knows when.Very bad call CH even mentioning that pulling out was an option under ANY circumstances last week - incredibly poor judgement IMHO.
