Ascent Resources still up 20 %. The phone conference recording should be on their site soon A possibility of course. However they have had nearly four months to chew over the data. I’d have thought anyone not serious would be long gone. Clearly the data about the gas field is showing good potential att the very least. Al IMHO.

Ascent Resources still up 20 %. The phone conference recording should be on their site soon The main points you will hear are the strategic review RNS was on 17th April, about 20 Co’s signed uo to view the data room, now there are a handful left (after 4 months!) and the chairman is confident a deal will be struck with one of the Co’s. All IMHO.

Ascent Resources chairman extremely confident of deal with one of the "handful" of companies It’s still up 17% and it’s 12:28. The Chairman is very confident of a deal to progress the gas field. The Slovenian Government has confirmed they will treat permit application as urgent. All IMHO.

8:35 27/06/2017 RNS expected this week Re: first gas sales to Croatia. Most important news from Ascent in several years. All IMHO. AST… XXXX 0.38 on 8th August, 0.93 on 9th , dropped back to 0.73p by 14th, and today up to 0.87p 15th . Around 9am saw it was up 17.25% with a spread of 12.5 % to much risk to trade . MM / Brokers must be cleaning up .

Ascent Resources chairman extremely confident of deal with one of the "handful" of companies still taking to Ascent following the strategic review RNS four months ago. Started with about 20 Companied signing up and viewing the data room data. Now down to handful of serious players. This information came from the conference call for shareholders yesterday @ 5:30. A recoring of the conference call will be on Ascents site later today. Have a listen. All IMHO.

Ascent Resources conference call today @ 5:30. Still a handful of Companies talking to Ascent after what will be in 3 days time FOUR MONTHS since the strategic review started. Frankly I assumed they would have got half a dozen Co’s to sign up and view the data in the data room initially! Apparently it was 20 or so. Now whittled down to a handful………… after 4 months. Chairman Clive said at the end he would be surprised and disappointed if the board can’t put a proposal to the shareholders as a result of the strategic review. For his exact wording see the ascent resources site later as the recording of the conference is going to be posted there. [link] Clearly the data room information has got the attention of “a handful” of Companies (still… after 4 months!). One can conclude from that the gas/oil field has a lot of potential, obviously or the “handful” of Co’s would be long gone!!! Ascents sp tomorrow morning will be interesting. All IMHO.

Ascent Resources. The data room data plus the permits I wonder why folks seem to believe him this time? Do folks really trust the Slovenian govt. to deliver? No wonder CH’s mates are talking profits today having bought in at rock bottom after Monday’s RNS specially designed to drop the price before this so called agreement. TP

Ascent Resources. The data room data plus the permits I agree with you EC (and thanks for advising to hold when things were at rock bottom) but i’ve grown tired of CH pretending to be in control of factors which he clearly cant - clearly the market has too. Outside the RNS do we have a third party who can corroborate what happened at the meeting?

Ascent Resources. The data room data plus the permits are the two keys here. We have 2+ Co’s still interested 4 months since the data room could be viewed. And we have positive signals from the Slovenian Government regardng processing the permits. Also maybe other Co’s that lost patience with the permit situation may make contact again. I reckon a jv is very likely and if we are lucky a bid at 2p. Colin and the board must be having a very interesting time. All IMHO.

Well, that was rather good! Ascent end day on day high 146% up! Looks like the market has taken the Slovenian Government people’s pledge to sort the permits out as a definate. I think the fact that Ascent are still talking to at least two potential partners after all this time is revealing. The Strategic review started on 17th April, nearly four months ago. The Co’s that wanted to have signed a confidentiality agreement and seen the data in the data room. Ages ago now. OK it would mean little to me. However they have seen the data and nearly 4 months later are still talking to Ascent. So call me mad but there must be something interesting in the data. Now it looks like the permit problems will be dealt with… Just joining the dots. All IMHO.

Well, that was rather good! Ascent end day on day high 146% up! … something along the lines of “get the permit sorted and we have a deal” would be nice to hear? Will be a whole new ball game with that permit … imo

Well, that was rather good! Ascent end day on day high 146% up! I am astonished the sp has ended on a DAY HIGH, some 146% up on yesterday. This tells me there is a tad more to this than the assurances from “ARSO”, the Slovenian environment agency. Quite what I can only guess. I suppose the fact Colin has said Ascent are still talking to Co’s regarding the strategic review can only mean we have serious potential players left, and now the permits are seemingly very likely to land those players must be more interested than they were. While the permit situation was seemingly going on forever I assume any potential jv partners or bidders would have been waiting, if they had the patience to wait. Colin had already said some had run out of patience I think in the previous RNS. So maybe those who lost interest will return, and those who waited may offer a deal soon. All we can do is speculate. Excellent day. When shaes end on day high they often carry on up next day… All IMHO.
