Operational UpdateAscent Resources plc, the AIM quoted European oil and gas exploration and production company, updates shareholders on operations at the Petišovci concession in Slovenia.Pg-11A updateWell Pg-11A was shut in for the month of May while the Company waited for temporary separation equipment to become available. The equipment has arrived onsite and the well has now been restarted. The performance of the well will be closely monitored over the coming period.Production updateTotal production for May was 1,066,795 cubic metres (37,673 MCF) compared to 1,191,058 cubic metres (42,062 MCF) for April 2018. Average daily production from Pg-10 for May was 1.2 MMscfd which was down from 1.3 MMscfd in April (and 1.4 MMscfd including Pg-11A). The Company is managing the production rates from Pg-10 to maximise the long-term recoverability of the well.RevenuesTotal revenue to Ascent for May from gas sales for May is expected to be around EUR180,000, with an additional EUR10,000 from the sale of condensate.Permitting updateThe authorities have completed their review of the baseline report in relation to the IPPC Permit application. I continue to post in order to add balance to some of the super enthusiastic posters here who seem unable to grasp reality ie, @colhutch has sold them down the river!Best of luck if you continue to hold.TP

Re: Ascent sp UP 3 DAYS IN A ROW If you do not have an invested interest here, they why are you posting.More info to follow before the AGM, IMO.Too much 'doom and gloom', is not good for anyone.Keep thinking positive....This is laid on a plate and ready for the taking, IMO.Those elections in Slovenia will bring about change.....They want investment money and now do not want to be seen as ' business bureaucratic hold up merchants'. A Population of around 2m.The 'winds of change' are about to blow.....GLA.

Re: Ascent sp UP 3 DAYS IN A ROW Escape? The money is gone already so looking at it like when you sell you loose is not correct. If you can get your money back at 3p a share it is just possible IMHO you may get your money back in the short term. Would need to be a bid from INA or someone. However I think a bid is more likley to be 2 to 2.75p tops IMHO of course. If they get a jv and in 6 months time the next well is blasting 10 mmscfd maybe you'll get better than 3p a share. Could be wrong but that is what I think.All IMHO.
