Re: News imminent Well that was a great update. The mgmt are really getting to grips with this business. There appears to be so much value to drive out & develop. The SP doesn't IMO reflect the current value or potential.Very exciting stock to hold .DYOR
Re: News imminent Nickel operations now profitable as well as gold. This company is hugely undervalued
News imminent The Quarterly must be due soon.I'm expecting further good progress from this under the radar stock.
Fed The fed will likely raise rates in Dec by 0.25 of a percent. This is hardly hawkish but a raise at least. But if we look at what they are talking about to deal with the next recession, negative rates, asset purchases ie buying shares, helicopter money - for me this is hugely significant. The implication is much higher inflation medium term. The value of gold and silver will increase in $ terms.
Re: Share subdivision I am baffled. The new shares are apparently "worth" one tenth of the old ones yet trading at the same price.....
Share subdivision In response to a question about the share subdivision, this was posted by "visitor" on the LSE (London South East) ASA forum. It is purely a formality and as per the AGM resolution which was passed by shareholdersAt the time the AGM resolutions were issued, ASA shares were less than 1p and had been for at least a year. Had an equity raise been required, it would not have been possible without this subdivision. ASA were not planning a placement and resolution should not be misinterpreted, but was prudent step to cover all "just incase" scenarios, had for example Gold gone back down to 1000s and Nickel back to the lows and cash flow became an issue
Re: So few posters and so silent! BREAKO... A bit less silent now at least!
Re: So few posters and so silent! BREAKO... Anyone know the significance of the share subdivision? Is this to do with ASA gold and ASA nickel?
Re: So few posters and so silent! BREAKO... I think the recent rises and the political situation put a lot of people off but my target is 15p.How do you know its mainly institutional investors?
Bindura gaining ground On Tuesday of this week Bindura went up 19.57% and once again Bindura is up another 20% today, plus it was the biggest riser on the Zimbabwe stock exchange, that now makes the mkt cap 24.545 mil$ which equates to approximately 20.12 million pounds.
Re: So few posters and so silent! BREAKO... Off our radar? No, just tired of chasing shadows with AIM companies.
Re: So few posters and so silent! BREAKO... I originally paid over 5p a share here, topped up with a lot just above 1p and doubled up at just o.39p. My average is now a good 1.1p and 10p is my short term target for when the re-built smelter is in full production.Still very quiet on this board; ASA is clearly off most people's radar, not many shares are in private hands and some won't believe the potential after recent rises. But the company market value is still low and the potential very high...
Re: Unbelieavable... The trouble is Mugabe or perhaps I should say Zimbabwe probably the latter. Good that Zimbabwe are going to be sympathetic to overseas mining companies but to be honest I will believe that when I actually see it!!! Cracking entry point IMO and for those that got in at the bottom Impressive!!!
Re: Unbelieavable... I agree, although I have to say the lack of interest is actually a good thing. When PIs get motivated to post it's usually for the wrong reasons! Potential 50 bagger but let's not get carried away. 5p or 10p would give me a very handsome profit indeed. I will hold a little for 40p as previously posted
Unbelieavable... ... the lack of interest in this 5 bagger that has the potential to do the same again in a short period of time. Just look at the SOU board which has a similar rise.
