Re: AWARD WORTH 50P ALONE! Alltold9,"I expect a massive mark up to the sp in 14 hours time."Well, good luck with that, m8! I suspect that ARMS will be lucky to extract more than 25% of the face value of the award since the Roeslani feller's seizeable assets look as if they are unlikely to be worth anything like the full amount of it.You can be absolutely certain that someone like him is not going to write a cheque on the say so of a Singapore arbitration panel, so let's hope that there are still a few Rooskies left who fancy a punt on an Italian football club or want to buy a house in Beverley Hills or a couple of not very grand French chateaux.
AWARD WORTH 50P ALONE! The arbitration award alone is worth nearly 50p, nevermind the ongoing business. Yes there is debt management to consider but in reality and imhho how the sp can stay below 160p for long is beyond comprehension. I expext a massive mark up to the sp in 14 hours time. Happy New Year.
The Times New years Tale of Same old Bumi01 January 2015....Of note last sentence:Yet there's a big difference between getting a court ruling and extracting Roeslani readies. And, even if Arms succeeds, it's still got to re-finance $950 million debts by 2019.If only Mr Roeslani could make them vanish too.
Re: Target £4.20 here Legal costs have also been awarded 'hardboy' so this is a magnificient result. The award alone represents approx 50p per share let alone anything else. I believe we will see another surge when the markets open on Friday, 2015 being a great year ahead for 'ARMS'. GL to all.
Re: Don't do it, Nat! LKH, What are you doing delving into a share like this? I can see you have not invested, and have sensible views on the share, but are you so bored over the holiday period that you are spending your time getting to know a company like this?Only popped onto the BB todays because someone made some comment about ARMS on another share's BB, and wondered to what he was referring. Seems everyone is getting excited because a far eastern court has ruled than some other entity has to pay ARMS something. That's good news on the face of it, but what I have seen of Far Eastern dealings, it is just the start. A court saying ARMS should get the money doesn't mean they're going to get it, and certainly not soon. Rejoice when the money is sitting in the bank account and not before. (Even then check how much in the way of legal costs & management time it has cost to get the money.) Must get back to the sanity of proper companies.
Re: Don't do it, Nat! Bhptuner,"looks like anyone who listened to your sell recs missed out on getting a bit of their money back...."Anyone who listened to my sell recs, which go back more than three years to the old Bumi days, would have done well to have got out of this munter at almost any time ... except today, I grant you.Someone buying yesterday would have done well today but, in the real world, most people don't buy in just before a price spike. It will be interesting to see whether Roeslani comes up with the wonga. Re: Target £4.20 here currently 23 to sell 25 buy!nearly half way there
Re: Target £4.20 here Logi sinking in just how undervalued 'ARMS' are and expect a surge to early close today, and another multi bagger on Friday when the full implications are absorbed by all. 50p+ is my short term target for 2015 taking into account todays RNS. More to follow.
Re: Target £4.20 here Good target 'senn1965' could now be on the way albeit two years on. Happy 2015
