RIGHTS ISSUE Please can someone explain why anyone would take up their rights and buy shares at 25p. I admit I am no expert and perhaps I am missing something.
Re: FCA FD,"Nat seems to still think he has some power in these places..."His experiences in Kurdistan (GENEL) and Indonesia (ARMS) must be rapidly disabusing him of such a notion! One might almost feel sorry for him, were it not for the fact that he did so little due diligence. That was unforgiveable of him.LKH on the flybridge
Re: FCA hmm - its back to my old rant of the UK having v little power but still trying to be a global leader - other countries seem to not be playing ball - they seem to think that we should not be allowed to profit from businesses in their back yard - BP, Arms. Glaxo etc - Nat seems to still think he has some power in these places....FD
Re: FCA Farmer,"The Board of ARMS is pleased to announce that Hamish Twit has agreed to be appointed CEO"Sounds like just the right sort of guy to see off them Hawaiian-shirted lads. What with Genel as well as this munter, not to mention his taxi app thingy, the boy Nat must be wishing he'd tried some career other than the investing biznay.LKH on the flybridge remorseless
FCA Well done FCA after the shareholders have been completely done over hit the people that did it...or if you cant find them hit the shareholders again
Re: Don't do it, Nat! Hardboy,So, it looks as if the boy Nat has disregarded your correspondent's advice.FWIW it looks to me as if the capital injection is going to be insufficient to persuade the bondholders to be patient. Why on earth Nat agreed to underwrite the equity issuance at a whacking great premium is a complete mystery to me. It sounds as if he has more money than sense. It looks as if he is allowing his heart to overrule his head ... and not for the first time.He may come out of this smelling, if not of roses, then of something less malodorous than at present, but the fall in the share price today suggests that Mr Market is not predicting a happy outcome. Personally I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot bargepole but that's justLKH on the flybridge

Re: AWARD WORTH 50P ALONE! "Time will tell!!"Indeedie.
Re: Oh dearie me! I made £1100 on the spike so im not complaining
Re: Oh dearie me! Bhptuner,You probably would never have bought in in the first place if you had read the earlier FT article which was even more damning about the boy Nat's approach. I've been banging on about that for God knows how long, while this munter spiralled down towards the hard deck as the fly boys in the Hawaiian shirts took 'im to the cleaners. If only it were as easy to spot winners as it is to spot losers I'd be a rich man.LKH at the LK Wash & Valet .... wait a moment ....
Re: Oh dearie me! yeah I got out with a 8% loss yesterday morning when I realised my mess up and after reading that link you put up lol
