Re: I'm Glad [link]

Re: I'm Glad The jump is probably due to the deal with Siemens who have sold their entire tidal turbine business and project pipeline to Atlantis for a pittance, and were paid in shares. Great deal for Atlantis as long as they have enough cash to keep moving forward.

Re: I'm Glad Hi Glad,I have to say that your timing with that message was a tad iffy.Anyway I'm out now. In my posting on 31 March I said if/when it reached 40 p I would consider selling.I never expected to happen this quickly but as the momentum seems to have run its course for the time being I decided to cash in for a very acceptable 38% profit.

I'm Glad That small Private Investors are not throwing their hard earned cash at this. Morgan Stanley are now " desperate " to get rid of their holding here, They though loads of small P.I.'s would rush in and inflate the S.P. so they could get out at least at break even. But ! it never happened. They will not hang on forever, as they want rid, so for sure when they do start to offload then you will really see this tank. Thank god I did not buy in in the early day's. Yes ! living right on the doorstep of the site most certainly has advantages. I really can see the S.P. in the teens by Autumn. Then god know's what the Winter months will do to it. I really feel for the small P.I's who bought in at the beginning and it has a long way south to go yet before it comes to a halt.

Re: 3 words say it all Not enough action going on for pump and dump---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- -----Exactly they bought in ( albeit a few small tranches ) for 3 days, hoping others would pile in to help pump it up for them. But luckily no one took their bait, so looks as if as of today they've given up. With the Financial year now finished before the Easter weekend, there is no doubt now that this will go steadily downhill. Yes and in 6 month's time we'll see just how much.Once Morgan Stanley realise nobody is taking their bait then you'll really see this fall.

Re: 3 words say it all Not enough action going on for pump and dump.Shares are probably undervalued, but that depends on:- Meygen construction going as planned- Atlantis not running out of money- actual energy generating performanceso very high risk at the moment.

3 words say it all There should be---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ----Altolusso your first 3 words describe Maygen PERFECTLY . They also " should be " a lot more advanced than they actually are. But have it your way, I can laugh watching it all from my front door. As I say this is going nowhere for a long long time. Except short Pump and Dumps, to catch out the inexperienced / ignorant investor. Up down Up down every time we'll find a clown.

Highlander 31 Mar 2015

Yeh Right !! Please yourselves, GO FOR IT. But I tell you what's happening now is 100% a typical pump and dump. So fill your boots and take what's coming.

Re: A Ship Re the ship - See yesterday's announcement about horizontal direct drilling ie putting holes for the cables through the rock. There should be 3 AHH turbines installed and grid connected next year. The 4th turbine is being built by Lockheed Martin (see yesterday's announcement), but delivered to Scottish dockside in 2016, sounds like installed in 2017.Shareholder value is linked to the c60 turbines Meygen can install, not how much money they can make off the first 4; so if all goes well then there will a lot of 'hope'' value in the shares for the next phases.

Re: Sorry, my mistake There is an old saying 'It's better to travel than to arrive'. In the short time I can see this reaching, say, 40p. That will give me a gain of about 1/3 and at that point I may well take the profit. Time will tell.

Highlander 30 Mar 2015

Sorry, my mistake Vessel type Activity CommentDP installation vessel Installation of turbine support structures Smaller vessels may be present for support services. During year 1 and 2 of installation, only one DP vessel will be onsite at any one time. During year 3, two DP vessels may be on site during support structure installation. Installation of export cables DP installation vessel (or tug) Install turbines onto support structures ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- -------Seems it will take 3 years now to install them if all goes well wether wise So 2019 before supplying the grid . A further 3 years to recover project costs, as they have stated initially it will cost 3 times what they get for the power until costs are recovered. So all being well looking at showing a profit around year 2022. Good buy Tom WM. Unless as I say they're ripped from the seabed in a storm, then it's Goodbye. Much longer than I thought to wait for a return on your investment, but I wish you well, a braver man than me.

Highlander 30 Mar 2015

Re: : MY GOD !!!!! Good on you mate, rather you than me, but keep buying in. Morgan Stanley need people like you Tom WM, good luck to you for helping them. They just might be lucky enough to start generating power into the grid by early 2017 then say 2- 3 years to pay back initial costs. So possibly looking at 2019 - 2020 to show a little profit. That's if it doesn't all get ripped off the seabed before then. The Boards of Duncansby are some of the strongest sea currents in the world. However wish you all the best with your investment. You've also a got very good chance of topping up later in the year when it's about the 10-12p mark.

Re: MY GOD !!!!! Haha Highlander, we all know you lost it ages ago. Just kidding ...I agree with the sentiment of your earlier post though - a 5.9% rise in the SP means diddly squat on such low (tiny) volumes - only 10,962 shares traded so far today as I type this and someone must have purchased them at the higher price for the SP to show a 5.9% rise. Something smells decidedly fishy to me.All I can say to anyone thinking of investing here (apart from "don't" is only do so if you are A) brave, B) have a very long time horizon and C) can live with the significant risk (IMHO) of significant paper losses in the short term.Disclosure: ARL is on my watchlist but I am not invested here and never have been. I am not shorting ARL either. No connection in any way. I will look to invest when I think the company is worth investing in - tidal energy production is a no-brainer - but at the moment it's also very high risk so for the foreseeable I'll sit on the sidelines and watch developments.Interested in others' thoughts and find the updates 'on the ground' useful.

Re: MY GOD !!!!! I was wondering how long it would be before you posted again. And you are wrong again!!I BOUGHT a few this morning at 26.90p

Highlander 30 Mar 2015

MY GOD !!!!! I AM LOSING IT. It is the right B.B. ( ARL ) after all. It's the snow up here numbing my brain.
