Re: Going up A 40% rise and no comments! Go figure. Just imagine what will happen when the world and his dog catch on. It's a waiting game now, but not for that much longer. In the North Falklands Basin sink the drill and the oil will come! And Noble has the resources to make it happen. C.P.----lol the funny thing is POO is down a 12 year low but Argos is up 30% LOL!

Re: 4.5p I also think a big strike at Isobelle will help to generate a bit of excitement around the Falklands again. The strike record by RKH is really rather impressive. If it's as big as some hope then people will be talking about an new oil province again. Oil doesn't just stop because x miles away the area is owned by a different company. And Argos has lots of targets. They'll be finding oil for the next 10-20 years. 4p. Are you having a laugh!

Re: 4.5p I got some at 4.2p. I hope to keep picking them up through January as funds allow.Sentiment will change. Bottom line: at some point oil will be worth more and the NFB is full of oil. It's inconceivable that the Argos acreage doesn't contain significant quantities. It might start with the Rhea stack, it might not. Noble have the resources to commit to the Falklands in a way that RKH/PMO currently can't. They do shale in a big way and I suspect will be keen to build their conventional oil reserves to counter the current shale issues. If they hit at Rhea it wont take long for them to start trying to get it out. Argos get 5% of all the income (Gross!) generated from the acreage with minimal overheads. And they've said they'd be keen to looks at new blocks around the Falklands as and when they become available. I'm almost 50. I earn OK, I've a good back-up pension. If this comes in and it's all in an ISA I should do OK. I don't see any down-side. If Rhea hits great, if not Noble will go again and Argos will go into hibernation mode until the next time. Fine, I can wait.

Re: In Auction I have to say I'm more comfortable in the short term with Argos than the other Falkland Island oilers. The dear old Rockhopper SP can't head north for love nor money whilst PMO drag their heels RE Sealine FID. Even a good Isobel/Zeberdee result may not make much difference in the current climate. I suspect if Noble hit at Rhea the time lines will become clearer in relatively short order. Even if Rhea misses I think Noble with keep the licence and come back to have a go at some of the other targets. And longer term Argos have their eye on other as yet un-licenced blocks around the Falklands. There's oil over the North Falklands Basin and Argos have 5% creamed off the top of all income generated from the block in-perpetuity. Nice! CP.
