Re: Resolutions passed Disappointing, leaves a lot of us well out of pocket
Resolutions passed Unfortunately the resolutions have passed so unless the South African Competition Commission or the Competition Tribunal object the takeover will go ahead.see[link]
Re: T/O Our potential new owners seem to be doing well and bucking the trend, the Rand is helping, maybe their shareholders consider AQP to be a bargain at our expense - they can afford to pay more, I do hope our major shareholders are fighting for a better offer. I continue to hold all of my AQP and will not let the jitters allow me to sell any whatever the outcome until the deal is done however I am not buying any more hence the hold rating[link] GL holders
Who is voting for and against ?
Re: T/O Details are available at [link] vote is on the 18th January but from the timetable proxy votes need to be in by close of business on the 15th January.
i meant i voted against the take over yesterday, I see the share price has rose a little...whats that about ?
I voted yesterday
T/O My understanding is that details are to be 'posted' to shareholders by the end of December 2015 & a vote in January. Has anyone received anything yet ? Re the 24p directors deal, an incorrectly entered price may be the reason.
Re: A little confused No you are quite correct which is why the offer price is a farce it should be around 24p
Re: Directors deals The price is in USD, so the prices are 24p & 12p
A little confused Hi boys and girlsJust a little confused here .... From Digital look 06-Jan-16 AQUARIUS PLATINUM LD AQP Rudd, Nigel Buy 296,585 @ 0.17p £34,59406-Jan-16 AQUARIUS PLATINUM LD AQP Nel, Jean Buy 331,504 @ 0.35p £81,086Taking the first BUY by Nigel - that equates to 296585 * 0.17p = £ 50419.45 <----- am I doing something wrong here? also that means directors in both instances have paid more than what the share is worth - or am I just being silly and missing out on the obvious (mind you its very early morning for me)
Re: over is rubbish That COT link didnt work very well so will try this one.[link] general comments here about the possible future of the Precious Metals in the context of where we are today.[link]
Re: over is rubbish Looks like a Major low could be in place for Gold, could be the years cycle low. Double bottom? So much negativity towards the sector, thats what happens at a market bottom, cant guarantee that it is the bottom but with the miners down 90% it is unwarranted. So few on board now.COT looks supportive too.[link]
Re: over is rubbish Yep Vote it down Worth far more - Seriously speaking Platinum should be way up high
T/O Price From 1998 to 2014 this share has never been below 40p. But recent Pro's fixation with shorting & as a result, others fear of investment, caused the stock to fall to 5.5 pence. Prompting the takeover offer at a ridiculously low price. In years gone by stocks use to rise on the prospects of a takeover, now there shorted down to all time lows.
