Re: Cheap, cheap, cheap. How do you view the major sales of shares by Aveva and Nigel Wray, without currently a balancing statement about share increases held by other institutions? Would be interested in your thoughts, as this share has confounded me over the years!

Cheap, cheap, cheap. At 47.75p the share here are cheap, cheap, cheap.I preached for long enough that the shares at INSE were cheap, they now a fair bit dearer, although stillquite cheap. I reckon the same will happen here at APH. I'll eat my hat if they are not 55p-plus withinsix months. Not a racehorse, but a steadyworkhorse, the road forward will be the same.IMHO,ws

Results Results look fine to me. Healthy growth in underlying EPS, nicely upped Dividend.Good long term investment this one, I would say. Share price likely to move upsteadily.WS

FY Results 29th March Fully expect this to break through 50p mark.P/E 11 for a growing pharma company is far too low with dividend to boot.

Re: 'Screeming Buy'.says M.F. I can't see a reason for today's fall, I therefore took advantage and toppedup at 46.9p. A bargain buy, in my view.ws

Re: 'Screeming Buy'.says M.F. Share price currently favourably low, making APH even mere of a screemingbuy than before, IMO. In my view, the shares are worth in region of 55p to 60p,based on earnings record and rising earnings ahead. A nice share to holdlong term.ws

Re: 3m shares Like anyone else, even CEO's may wish to upgrade their private lives,, their house, their kids' schooling etc. A nagging wife often sees to that. Meantime, here, he retains a big chunk of sharesCheers,wsI

Re: Why? Hi winningstreak,I wouldn't disagree with you, it is simply the markets opinion, can't fight it.Fundamentally I suppose you could say that the Sinclair integration is ongoing, and until the pretty substantial investment made brings home the bacon there will always be cause for doubts.Chart wise we look to be heading back to 43-44p before hopefully bouncing again.I am super bullish about the long term prospects, but as has been said, I would be happy for the next couple of years to be steady as she goes, pay down some debt and increase margins.I did buy a few a couple of weeks back at 47p so watch with interest for the bounce!I agree that when markets do gain some semblance of common sense and collapse APH will get pulled down initially but will be one of the first to recover, hopefully!ATB

Why? Why the fall over the past few days from 50p to 45.5p?I can't see any good reason whatsoever, although perhaps safe defensive stocks are momentarily out of favour? But sentiment is bound to change when the market takes a wobble, which is bound to happen sooner rather than much later. Fundamentally, based on Company's performance and outlook, I see more reason for a rise from 50p to 55p than a fall from50p to 45.5p. If I were not already so well stocked up, I wouldcertainly be looking to buy any more now.Should anyone hold a different view, I would be gratefulto hear.Cheers,ws

Re: Good Results / bright future Indeed - the headline figures looks great, but that's always going to be the case once your business has doubled in size. Debt is now at a considerable size in comparison to the profits so there's some headway still to go yet.
