Re: AO... Chairman let go One viewDomestic appliances online retailer, AO World (AO.) has announced that Chairman Richard "Quindell" Rose has announced his intention to step down from the board once a successor has been appointed, with Rose noting the long-term strategy we set out at the time of our IPO is firmly on track and I feel now is the right time for me to move on. Hmmm.Is firmly on track a November-announced not far from halved UK pre-tax profit then? Or perhaps the January 3rd Quarter Results announcement which offered no specific detail on profit or cash or that expectations are now lower than they were initially following a half-baked update in July and then the interim results in November.Or perhaps it is the loss those paying 250p and indeed 300p+ for the shares in early 2015 currently see after a warning then that it is now apparent that some of the revenue growth in the second half of FY14 and going into FY15 was due to the extra publicity surrounding the company at that time. This saw the shares immediately down to sub 200p and there they remain. All part of the long-term strategy? The company expects to announce Roses successor by the time of the 2016 AGM in July but, ahead of further news before then on the developing expansion in Europe and profit in the UK, I retain my concerns on the valuation here - something of a recovery in the shares from just over 120p in August, to a current 170p, sees a market cap now of more than £715 million here.In my concern, I dont appear to be alone noting continuing short interest in the shares from the likes of Artemis (1.57%), TT International (0.93%), JPMorgan Asset Management UK (0.75%) and Coltrane Asset Management (0.53%). The shares are a sell.p.s. if you mean advert then it's ad and not add (there's only the one 'd', you see).
AO... LETS GO I like the add.

Re: averaging down. Making progress.
Re: where are the numbers? Shorts up so hedge funds know this too and so do IG as they arent taking spread bet shorts but Spreadex are.
Re: where are the numbers? When turnover is vanity and profit is sanity.
where are the numbers? How can a company announce quarterly results with no P&L, balance sheet or cash flow numbers?
Re: averaging down. Laughter. You should try it.If you read your posts, you might see that some are very funny.
Re: averaging down. Just nasty to many for no good reason maybe you need to take some of your own medication.Even so i wish you a happy Christmas orchard.
Re: averaging down. Not concerned, just laughing at him.I laughed at you too, posting your almost unintelligible thoughts twice. It didn't read any better the second time.
Re: averaging down. Not on what i post , i do not advise.
Re: averaging down. Every time you talk to Mr Ripley I see a blue dot and come and read this nonsense.I can see that you are very concerned with his welfare economic and otherwise but could you not establish a direct channel for your information which is clearly of no value to anybody else.
Re: averaging down. Oh I see, so you think people make buy or sell decisions based on what you post or what I post and this moves the price. And I'm part of a team and together we move the price. OK.And do yo also believe you receive instructions from the signals from your electric sockets and that the CIA are watching your house. How long have you suffered from these fantasies? Are you taking any medication at the moment?
Re: averaging down. Posters working in teams. And or with the bloggers.Just one person acting on advice might not affect a price , but many acting on it might. You like TW do a good job of making yourselves look arrogant.
Re: averaging down. "unlike you i have not given advise."I assume you mean advice. Well, yes. it's true, I did suggest people short this when the shares were 380p. That's what they call great advice.Whereas you advised people that the share price is being manipulated by comments people (i.e. me) make here, which is what is called utterly stupid advice. Can you spot the difference?Do you come here with the express intent of making yourself sound daft? If so, you're doing a good job.
