But this had to be done eventually, if partly for psychological reasons, though for other factors too.With more loss seeming inevitable, taking it on another sharp drop on low volume seemed as good a time as any. Today's volume one of the lowest for a while.As for many others on these BBs, simple truth is that spread-betting isn't just a past-time for me, or a bit of daily excitement. If I wanted that I'd do other things. It's quite serious. There's been significant financial investment + time devoted here, whilst my ultimate goal has never been in doubt: to be consistently profitable eventually, or pack it in & stick with real shares. Now we know that just because one's profitable with real shares, as I have been a while now, that doesn't mean one will repeat that success with leverage. However, I've also done reckless stuff with leverage that I couldn't even try with real shares due to the nature & high-risk options of SB platforms. So in theory, though there are obvious differences with minding margin, etc. if one approaches SBs with the same steely discipline as one successfully trades real shares, one might at least have a chance. That's what I'd decided to do after re-evaluating a lot of things, including cutting all positions I'd long lost confidence in. - All the best!

Re: Short: 514.99 - closed 907.92 As previously premeditated, last ANTO short taken out for almost £2K hit + costs. Reasons immaterial, bar that volume seems low &, despite Copper falls, I remain bullish for Copper over the long-term. Now only hold long positions in ANTO, which overall I'm more comfortable with. - GLA
