Re: A directors share purchase The directors share purchase was £1350 (500,000 at 0.27) not £2k worth warwick.I think most shareholders have invested more than that. Rather pathetic don't you think for a person that takes a 6 figure salary each and every year.

Re: yearly pump and dump stock Not really sure what this post adds, or is it a moment of self reflection?It was a penny AIM share, the profile of the company was never likely to be delivering dividends by now. Yes progress has been disappointing, as is the continual dilution - but was always going to be a risk share..... and there have been plenty of profitable exit points along the way so 'nothing but losses' isn't quite true.

Re: little spurt Good point Hunterguitar. I'm not very knowledgeable about Stock Exchange regulations but I would have thought that ANR should put out some sort of statement to quell what might be unfounded speculation. I think you and I have both been in this share over quite a long period of time, and we know only too well what has happened in the past. Although it's very tempting to interpret the company's silence as an indicator of good news around the corner, I remain very cynical. I'm just going to sit tight and hope for the best. If the pending exploration licence goes through, this will clear the way for ANR to go ahead and do something constructive. I sincerely hope they will!

Re: little spurt With people pilling into dogs like altona it justs makes me wonder if we are at the top of the market? Last time the footsie 100 got this overvalued the same thing happened with AIM listed shares, is it time to run for cover.....................................

Re: little spurt Huh! yes you may get your money back but then regret it if they come forward with good news that may have already leaked to cause this rise. On the other hand this could be a big pump before they go bust!I fealt the same having lost most of my small investment in XTR until recently when they announced good news, so I put much more in and the rise so far has continued. Probably will not do that with ANR though unless they issue a good RNS, by which time it might be too late.Life is a gamble.
