Why no mention of the U sands? From what I remember the T sands were higher quality and seems amer have chosen to develop U and T separately… it will probably affect their choice of next drill location and contact area … U sands either being held or developed separately?
Value the markets interview with CFO Nick Harrison For those of you not yet following Amerisur’s twitter feed: ValueTheMarkets – 4 Oct 18 Amerisur Resources on how its drilling programme can put a stop to recent rough... Despite Amerisur Resources (LSE:AMER) increasing year-on-year revenues by 93pc in H1 2018, production issues and a recent well disappointment have seen shares decline over the year to sit at their current 13.2p. However, with the oil and gas firm now...
Why no mention of the U sands? The original RNS stated that flow testing would be performed on both, so there was no need to state this again. Not being an oilfield expert, I would suspect that they can only test one at a time. In light of the reaction to the original RNS I think they wanted the positive news released as quickly as possible and did not want to wait for all the testing to be finished. Hopefully another RNS will be released soon.
Why no mention of the U sands? In the 25th September RNS announcing the rsults of Pintadillo-1 the company stated that in addition of the 15 ft of net pay in the T sands the: “U sand found to be well developed with 12 feet of net pay logged†Yet there is no mention of production from the U sands in todays RNS, if they had tested the U sands or if they planned to do so. Odd. If there was anything positive to say about the U sands I would have expected the company to do so.
Losing faith in Giles This morning’s news is a trifle better, [click here to view], and is currently having a reasonably positive effect (~15%) on the sp. Hope it is maintained and continues, but still some way to go to reverse the recent damage to the sp.
Losing faith in Giles AMER… XXXX As in most cases there was no rush to get in on fall back even lower today @ 11.86p
Remember the seller I wonder why the seller was selling. Maybe it was because he new a bit more about the company than what we were led to believe. Sub 10p on anymore bad news.
Losing faith in Giles When I received your note in my e-mails, I hadnt noted that it was a ‘no email reply’ situation. Hence ignore the 3 sentences. You cannot give me that information in the way I requested, so we will have to communicate through ii in the way I am doing now. There seems to have been a mild positive movement this morning; at least it hasnt deteriorated further. By the way, from my limited knowledge of the area, AMER locations are about to enter the start of the dry season which makes engineering etc quite a lot easier. Lets hope that they can translate that into hard cash with some better drilling results, better production from current producers, better use of the pipeline and start of operation of the new pumping station in Ecuador which as I understand it was paid for by AMER but will get 100% back in no charge usage of Ecuador facilities for the future. Best regards
Losing faith in Giles [quote=“Ripley94, post:14, topic:10971 ??? PS What is ‘Graham’s e-mail address and any others you have who continue to take part on A ??? Stay in touch by e-mail.MER?44, full:trueâ€] ??? Can you please explain these three sentences please claude .
Losing faith in Giles Thanks for that guys. I have topped up lots of times and have run out of gas ! I have reviewed the full report and you can take it two ways – really bad, or a bad egg in a larger chicken coop! Thoughts on which? Stay in touch by e-mail. I still haven’t mastered the new ii site though to some extent that is a result of loss of patience with the way they treated their customers from that first weekend of change. It screwed up a deal I had planned for that fateful Monday morning and that really capped it for me. So……hope to continue to hear from you all by email… Best regards Ian Davies PS What is ‘Graham’s e-mail address and any others you have who continue to take part on AMER? [quote=“Ripley94, post:14, topic:1097144, full:trueâ€] AMER… XXXX March 20th 2018 . RNS … fell 18 % topped up @ 12.5p No comments on Malcy blog… but he has retweeted positive looking stuff from the company.
Losing faith in Giles AMER… XXXXX RNS … fell 18 % topped up @ 12.5p
Irritating My last reply to you … (until next year) not sure what planet you live on but clearly you’re “betting†on a fall from 15p … am I right?? If the current drill in progress comes up a blank you may well gain a few p! But all this tosh about banked profits and corruption just shows a, exactly what your motivation is. b, that you don’t hold AMER shares c, that you’re an i d i o t !!! All in my humble opinion of course … now whatever happened to that ignore button…
Irritating If you take into consideration the money they banked and revenue then profit p/bbl is around $9, damn good profit eh. That’ operating costs of around $55 p/bbl and that’s while they are depleting reserves and not adding. Why was cost or profit p/bbl not highlighted in the latest interim’s when it was highlighted in the last 2? It’s suspicious why operating cost have increased as oil prices have increased. The current profit on revenue and the cash in the bank will be used up for the $61m exploration costs. This will be a great opportunity to skimm money of to the side dishonestly. They will then dilute to fund production of any new finds. The more I look at this the worse gets. The only thing that’s keeping this stock above 10p is cash in the bank and when they use up most or all that in the next 12 months the share may be sub 10p as the market digest how much further funding is required. Still think its cheap and the markets wrong?
Irritating The_Marin: Bowman’s started to see the light Sorry to disagree; Nothing that has been stated in this thread has changed my view. What I have stated is the same view I have held over the past couple of years. Also I do not agree that AMER is involved in fraud or corrupt activities, although I suspect that there is a certain (relatively small) amount of “protection†monies being paid to the local warlords, especially as it appears the Government/Army are not filling the voids left by the “disbandment†of FARC as promised.
Irritating The_marin let’s continue this in a few months and see who’s proved to have made the right choice here eh?
