Re: Elena back on true form RogadarIf Amer was not already a producer, I would agree, but that is not the case.So long as the POO holds at the current levels, they can carry on funding until they get the big hit and they certainly have enough targets.CPO-53 areas identified and within just the one in the north west, they are going for Indico, Sol and Aguila"N" sands3 wells planed in one anomaly, but there are, in fact, 4 anomalies and mention was made that they would go to the bottom and check out the U and T.Put 8The 2 proposed wells are after different targetsPut 9/12Less clear on the targets/alternatives at the moment, but they are following the identified trends throughout the basin and it has to be remembered that they are stacked plays.P50 for the first 3 wells and so that is a 50% probability in three of the five fields. It is still looking as if Indico will be first off the blocks, but the "N" sands might catch up if the civil works are completed by first week of June and we have the rig already on one of the nearby pads.Oil companies are never for the faint of heart, but with 13 more drills to come and in quick succession, I don't see that many bailing at the first fence.
Re: Elena back on true form For me, there is just one problem here, and that is if first drill, turns out to be a duster, SP will go bellow 15p, hope it will be a discovery but for all holders a risk to take. As for Elena she had a glass or two just before writing that post, no harm done.
Re: Elena back on true form Elena has been correct before!85p and it would be HAPOLDB!
Re: Elena back on true form Thanks for the response Elena, Well written and some things I agree with and some I don't.. so, on balance, I didn't tick it up..Your poo estimates are too bullish and your share price targets here are too bullish too, imho.... but great if they were to come to pass !Thankfully I'm back in profit here now and will perhaps start selling down by very small increment somewhere around the mid 20's p IF?WHEN it were to get there .. I'd still welcome a T/O bid here in short term but would say it would have to be in the 30's now to have a chance.. and even if lower and rejected it would give the s/p a short term jolt up and help set a new bar for it too.. im
Re: Let us not get too excited! Sorry to hear you're in at 31p Ben. I'm not quite as bad as that but I'm not many pennies behind (about 5 to be precise!). Us LTH's have been long suffering and I felt the recent LT incentive awards were just plain insulting to us all. That's why I made the long trip to Cardiff to the AGM. Others have already reported on the outcome. It soon became clear that I was not the only one dissatisfied! Hopefully they will not do that again!
Re: Elena back on true form Nice to Michu,Just to be clear if you look at my earlier post the chart shows the SP was at 64p levels just 3 years ago with arguably more upside now.Oil will continue its march upwards for the next 3 years until $110+ per barrel. If I am correct then 85p will be a very low exit price. There are risks here.1) Elections (I think it was worse when there were no elections)2) Chump BoD may sell out too early. They appear to have upset somebody with deep pockets.3) Lack of drilling success. There are more drills over the next 3 years fully funded.4) AIM listed.I would beware of every poster on this BB including myself. Look for validation before making investment decisions.I bought a lot of these at 30p (stupidly) and all the way down.I might buy tomorrow. But I will be looking for a break out from 64p before I derisk here.As for the BoD, I have highlighted in 2) above that they should not sell us out too early. They will be pelted by a large amount of tomatoes by myself and MISOLDB.Disposable overalls will be handed out.MISOLDB needs to build some house he won't be able to take with him.History shows us that Grand houses dont last long.I won't be able to talk him out of building it, but no one is taking away my tomatoes!Good luck to all holders here.
Re: Elections " "then Colombia could turn into Venezuela" That would be some trick. I think it will still be Columbia in the morning."Suspect that geography was not your forte Elena! Think you'll find it was still Colombia this morning and I'm sure it will be tomorrow too!
Re: Onwards and upwards well lets hope that isn't it, and we carry on up tomorrow...???????????????
Onwards and upwards Again good volume and an appreciating price. Nice to get up to 20.5p early in trading.I expect a resources increase soon.Oil price strongDebt free$40m + in the bank (and rising quickly)6500 bopd (or higher) = $480k a day cashflow (Yes nearly $0.5m per day)Profit of $50+ per barrel = $325k per day (c.$120m per year)Only negative is Put resources is dropping, but they are drilling to extend to 3 fields this year. In the medium term I can only see upside here!GL holders, our day in the sun will come, just bide your time.
Re: Let us not get too excited! A "ravenous beauty" - now you are talking!
Re: Elena back on true form E S take a look at GREATLAND GOLD [GGP] and please tell me what you think.......as it seems this will also take off very soon.More gold found last week........
Elena back on true form ''The Chump BoD will turn up at the AGM one year soon all smiles saying that they are considering an offer of 85p a share!Myself and MISOLD (if he is still alive) will pelt them with overripe tomatoes!''You're entertaining and there is value in that, imho.Did you use the think of a number and double it methodology to come up with that one Elena.. of maybe, towards not being accused of rehashing old tricks, think of a number and triple it this time round..A leopard doesn't change its spots.Treat with care.
Re: Let us not get too excited! It is, supposedly, a 14 well campaign and the first 3 wells testing 3 fields are just the taster (all P50 ie a 50% probability of success).Incidentally, on the "N" sands, they will be drilling down to the bottom, to check the U and T sands in the stacked play Put 9 and 12 should not be discounted: apparently, getting in a second rig to drill these.
Re: Let us not get too excited! yes Rog, but when has a "reasonable point of view "got any thing to do with it...lol
Re: Let us not get too excited! Message from E.S.''''I won't get excited until AMER breaks out from the 64p range.'''Well, no one will complain about 64p, but to reach that figure, all three drills have to bring oil discoveries, which in my opinion, is, just little too much, to demand, from a reasonable point of view.
