Izzy Well we have the figures and although there is a huge potential down the road I feel in the short term the SP will struggle to see this. Small selling will dictate that the SP will drift. The rig is key and although a little more encouraging news, we have heard most of it before. Any thoughts?
Re: News The important thing with MRG is that they needed the money, np doubt to progress their business. Will have a look at N4, thanks
Re: News Well I would imagine the $80,000 interest on the loan to MGR will keep them ticking over, till the rig is at last Sold or Leased out.Worth having a look at N4 Pharma BOWOOD, which now has the Patent for a number of drugs to reformulate, including Viagra, low risk, but the returns could be massive,
Re: News Agree, but I think the yard is doing something as it generated a small surplus at the half year.
Re: News Would also be nice if the Ship Yard could get some new orders, as the company needs to get it working and bringing in cash.
Re: News I think the rig sale must be on the agenda either to an operator or a leasing company. MRG could benifit from a mix of commodity sales and the copper interest could also help MRG. I would look to 75p ish if it all comes good.
Re: News Could be several things BOWOOD, the sale of the Rig, good reports from the Copper mine investment, or a good year from MGR, With under 33 million shares in circulation, there has to be a shortage of stock on good news, if there is news on the rig sale, I could easily see the shares double.Looking good.
News Could be news of the rig sale. Quite a decent buy early on and market perhaps short of stock.MRG could be doing a lot better and of course is highly geared. Assets and cash still strong.
Update on a sale Asked the co a couple of weeks ago if they'd release an rns on how the sale of the rig was going. I did point out I dint expect a personal response but disappointed that they have not seen fit to do so. Clearly our original purchaser hasn't got the cash. Personally I'd have expected an rns to that effect as it's clearly psi
Re: RNS Yes I agree, and until we have an update I feel the SP will continue to slide on small sales.
Re: RNS It's been over 3 months since the rig was completed, with no news or up dates being posted, so it would be nice to get some reassurance as to what is happening regarding the rig sale..
RNS This acquisition is excellent for MGR and will grow their earnings massively Good to see AMED proactive again. Also sends a subtle message that the investment in the rig is about to crystalize.
Re: MGR I always try to invest in companies i feel have a future, don't always get it right, but have a good feel about this one, also Metal Tiger and Plutus, worth a look if you have a minute.Seems this one is on the rise again, like you, i hope we have news of the rig sale soon,
Re: MGR Could be and I feel that MRG's potential should not be overlooked, The $800k working capital is not insignificant and if its for processing iron ore etc its quite a lot. The market is picking up as is the oil market and I would expect the next RNS to tell us that the rig has been sold. Then the interest in AMED will return.
Re: MGR Can't see any reason for the drop over the past few days but then with so few shares in circulation there has to be a lot of fluctuation in the share price, maybe one of the big holders has sold some, and put it towards the loan to MRG, after all, 10% is a nice return, or even invested directly in MRG, only an assumption, as very little news being released. What say you BOWOOD
