Re: Results Thanks izzy I will take a look
Re: Results Always a good idea to cut loses, BOWOOD, as I don't see any positive news coming out in the near future, maybe a top up of your holding in Cradle Arc could be a good move, as it's value is slowly increasing, and I still feel N4 Pharma is a sound investment that could be very rewarding, as it's reformulation of Viagra is due for sale over the counter, which could be worth millions in royalties to N4, as well as royalties for other drugs they have patents for, or in the pipeline. As always DYOR. and you will see this is a company that could be worth over £1 a share in a years time.Good luck in what ever you decid
Re: Results I am suprised they need to provide an annual report. Nothing has changed, they could have simply asked shareholders to read last years, or the previous one, or the previous one or the one before that. I have about 161k shares but am told I could only expect 8p but feel that £12k would stand a better chance of recovering funds by investing elsewhere.
Re: Results Back in on 11th may, and sold up yesterday with a profit, as I felt money invested in the rig was holding it back, but as you so rightly said BOWOOD, we seemed to have been deceived over the rig, we were told it was built to customer specifications, then the customer was trying to obtain finance, and it was not long ago we were informed it was being prepared for delivery, none of which was true, as we have now been informed they are looking for a buyer.I still hold 90k shares in N4 Pharma tucked away in an Isa, which are rewarding me with 130 % profit, with I feel a lot more to come, and hope to up my stake in Cradle Arc and Ilika, both which I feel have potential .Good luck
Re: Results Not very inspiring. - MC of £3.5m and assets of $19m. Just shows what the market thinks of an investment company that can make no return on its investments. We may have been mislead when we were told the rig was being prepared to be delivered rather than marketed. From here I can only see small investors feeling let down and starting to dribble out stock and recovering losses elsewhere.
Results These should be very interesting and will be due within the next ten days. Assets at the half year were some £15m and with a current mc of £5m at 15p shows the desparity between the sp and the asset value.
Re: Buying Well a good set of results , and positive news on the Rig and Mine investment, would surely add value to the share price, The spread this morning is 12p - 15p, which means interest in Amed is starting to grow, Good luck
Re: Buying I am sure we will be rewarded shortly Izzy - with a mc of only £3.5m and assets of about £14m and massive tax losses the market must be blind to the potential here. A very good time to top up IMO
Re: Buying Yes a very good post on the LSE board from Nicol46 , Pleased to get back in Amed when I did, as already in profit, lets hope for a good set of results next week ,or the week after,
Buying Good to see positive trades ahead of the figures due next week. Also there is interesting posts on LSE regarding the rig.
Re: Back in Yes welcome back izzy, it could be very good timing on your part.As for QIC, I do not see his investment vehicle selling part of his holding. Remember, he bought at 50p (adjusted for the 100:1 consolidation). That said, at some point AMED are going to have to improve liquidity, as it is so difficult to accumulate on anything but down days. That of course is exactly what some of us have done. AMED is massively undervalued, but that will change in due course. The key is to be holding in size when it does.
Re: Back in Welcome back izzy and I also feel we can expect positive developments during the coming months. AMED has all the ingredients to be a success. Liquid assets exceed the market cap with another 40p of assets per share in the investment in the yard. It has huge tax losses and it has the potential of the former Chairmans 61pc holding perhaps or part of up for grabs since he resigned. It's a must buy IMO
Back in Just have a feeling something is going on, so I decided to get back in today, as it just felt the right time,Think there is a major press release due next week to give the shares a welcome boost.Fingers crossed
Re: Don't forget I must agree Izzy that there is a reluctance on AMEDS part to provide much newsflow notwithstanding they are an investment company. The important thing is the asset value and at the moment the investment in the yard and MGR are in addition to the MC v current assets. Take tax losses into account we have assets of about 65p
Re: Don't forget The Rig has been completed over two years now, the original buyer paid for adjustments to be made, is it the original buyer who is waiting delivery, or another buyer, we don't know. How is progress at the copper mine investment, we don't know.Surely we deserve a update on the company's progress, the big men know, but small investors need to know also.
