No legacies As ' challenger' bank Aldemore (& others in same category) have the advantage over the high street banks of no premises & no legacy problems. It is pretty well established in the commercial loan business to SMEs & over £1,000m on its loan book, and it's been one of the chief complaints of small business that loans from the major banks have been rather hard to get. I've not invested yet but it's very much on my watch list; looks a possible long term growth prospect
