Re: Hopefully bottemed out now Presenting in the US next week - they must have something decent to say or it wouldn't be worth the bother.

Re: Forget it ....... ! Thanks for that. I have just accidentally picked up the iii tips for 2016, less successful than the ones for 2015! If you work your way through to the final one, it was Angle! This is what they have to say about it now. Couldn't put it better myself, but there could be real progress not too far away.y.y.y.y, but how far is that? FDA approval would be good! Tempted to average down - hence weak buy.I quote...ANGLETip price: 69.5p | Current price: 52p | % change: -25.1ANGLE (AGL) continues to prove the validity of the Parsortix circulating cancer tumour cells capture technology and further positive third party research has been published by universities and hospitals during the year. However, a lack of positive commercial news has led to the share price slipping back.Patients are being recruited in Europe and North America for studies on the use of Parsortix in the detection of ovarian cancer. In the US, Angle hopes to get initial Food & Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for use in the diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer, a £1 billion market, and validation work is ongoing. FDA approval would provide a base to expand the approval to other cancers.ANGLE raised £9.6 million net at 64.5p a share during May this year, which meant that it had pro forma net cash of £13.4 million. This cash is expected to last until at least April 2018, although that could depend on the pace of commercialisation and the opportunities that arise. However, the company recently held a general meeting to enable more shares to be issued without offering them to existing shareholders.ANGLE still has at least as much potential as it did one year ago but it is uncertain when this will show through in terms of deals for the use of the Parsortix technology for various cancers. Once these deals come through the share price will react.

Re: Forget it ....... ! I have considered posting for sometime on this BB re the down slope of the sp so here 'we' go. The fundamentals of this product haven't changed despite the odd press release one hears from time to time about a sensational new test or procedure that in real terms are years behind Angle in product development or the ratification process needed to bring them to market. In other words they are just lab projects in universities that haven't even got themselves onto the AIM market yet, let alone a viable product that has passed every test thrown at it so far, funded and performed better than most other established products owned by larger corporations. The lobby and influence of these multi-nationals to protect themselves with an inferior product is to keep their shareholders happy but of little benefit to the well being of Joe and Jane when an alternative could be a the better choice. The vagories of AIM will always benefit the short/dark side as it is easier to do this than use real money and/or borrow your shares rather than invest any real cash - especially if there are a few days without any news. The number of shares traded per day are the same people doing the same thing each and every day but you will never hear from them unless its a sell rec.

Re: Forget it ....... ! I agree....I have my finger on the average down button but I'm worried someone knows something. Surely the drop can't all be down to lack of news ?

Re: Forget it ....... ! Nice to hear from someone on this BB. I invested for 2 reasons -I think that it is a very attractive socially advantageous approach to diagnosis AND I believe that it will be taken on by many health services in the future. In the meantime it seems to have gone rather quiet after a string of different hospitals in different countries taking it on in test from with a lot of success apparently for a range of diagnoses, especially breast cancer. I am sitting on a thumping loss at the moment, but bottom drawer'ing them for the moment. Fortunately, I only bought 1/3 of a typical investment for me so not too bad. Still have high hopes, for both reasons quoted above. Unfortunately, at the moment cant say more than hold, though at these prices tempted to average down.

Forget it ....... ! Down and down we keep going, starting to think this company is going nowhere !

Re: Trading update The company haven't issued trading updates in the past, but Q2 results should be out at the end of January 2017, as Q4 results were out at the end of July.

Good money after bad 20 Dec 2016

Trading update When is a trading update due ? I've put my toe back in the water at these low prices (even lower than the CEO bought last month !)I'd be interested to see what cash is now being generated and the prospects for growth vs the burn rate.

millwallfan 16 Nov 2016

Share price The drift down from low 70's in last couple of months is quite concerning. Things seemed to be progressing at a steady pace for some months so why the large % drop??? An update from the company would be helpful. I had very high expectations of this share as the technology seems to be a world leader and with the ability to market/licence the machine and charge 'per test' in many parts of the developed world generating ongoing revenue stream plus with only 76 mill shares in issue I was expecting much more. Comments, views or info please
