usually mm's fill orders in the opposite way as the trend....usually buying pressure (increase in price) they off load otherwise, at the amount of shares they accumulate like 18million or more will cause the share price to sky rocket.

If third parties are really in negotiations to help Afren in the long term (we all know they will only help if there is a profit to be made), do you realistically believe they will buy shares at levels Private Investors have bought at?

I'm long here, but the volume is too low for a spike....unfortunately....

Just a quick note for people who look at the percentage of buys to sells. It seems people are confused by this! I will try and explain it in short for people who do not understand why more buys does not equal higher share price. If buyers are buying at market rate, they are buying the share at the BUY PRICE (the one on the right, of the spread prices) and there is a large investor who keeps selling it at that price constantly with an infinite amount of shares, the price will never go up past that price even though those trades are all considered BUYS in the percentages. So in summary if a buy is executed at the BUY price its a BUY (theoretically) and if the trade is done at the SELL Price its considered a SELL (theoretically)....hope that helps

Looks like heavy volume in the morning with all the day traders opening positions for today (long or short), now the volume looks like its dried up and without news or manipulation it looks like its going to be one of those drifting days again......unfortunately when there is no direction it always seems like gravity takes over
