Re: BMN Update Hi LJThanks for that. I'll have a proper read through later on.The 'lull' also looks a bit like the tail end of a H&S[link]

BMN Update A while ago I posted about a share that might be of interest - Bushveld Minerals (BMN)Since then I have learned a lot more and trebled my holding as I believe this is potentially "another GKP"Some research and copy posts are available on my ADVFN page and I recommend you to take a look whilst there is a lull in the price due to some warrants being sold down with approximately 5M of around 12M to go.......[link]

Re: SOU thoughts Pen,Thanks for your observations. I admit I hadn't thought about the May18 low of 35 being a support, makes sense though; I couldn't see anything other than the 24 in 2015 which you also point out. I will bear in mind the idea of trading this on the way up, sounds like a plan. My gut feeling is that this share will generate a lot of interest in the next 12 months as they try and monetise their assests in Maroc but we will see! Thanks againGrinchy

Re: SOU thoughts Hi GrinchI don't think there is any support other than the May 2018 low of around 35 which hasn't been retested. Below that there might be some support from the pivot highs around 24p in May 2015.It's worth keeping an eye where it's going now as it's just creating a higher low and the RSI is picking up again.I've marked two downtrends on the weekly chart. The gentler one started in early 2017. From January 2018, the rate of drop has been steeper. So putting in closes above the steeper line would be an initial signal that it might be picking up as would the daily RSI breaking above 50[link] is, even if it does start rallying, it's got heaps of overhead resistance points to get through. Could be one to trade on the way up rather than to hold??Pen

SOU thoughts I'd appreciate some TA thoughts on this. Currently out but looking to buy back in, struggling to see where support is coming from.(fundamentally I believe it has good prospects)Thanks in adv

Re: FRR You are right the RSI is the thing to watch as its building. I guess the short entry below 0.35 is for the future - if it bounces form here then a possible long trade to around 0.57Just going to watch this for now

Re: FRR Hi GengI have some support around .40 and am also watching some bullish divergence on RSI and MACD-H.[link] not a short for me at the moment but wdik!Pen

FRR There - I've used the dreaded FRR word!I've been out of these for a while but still look in once in a while. There's a possible case for a bounce at around 0.35p but if it doesn't hold the SP could drop back to 0.12I rarely short stocks but am considering this - anyone have any views?

Re: Pen - trendlines Hi ElvironI used to save everything as separate chart layouts on investing.com. This kept all the annotation in place.I have the same issue with ProRealTime - sometimes it saves annotation but not always. Very frustrating! It's also the main reason I don't use tradingview.com - couldn't find a way to retain all the annotation. Probably my fault for not understanding how to do it!Pen

Re: AMC divergence Don't forget the Gaps! 6.25p and 7p, I commented on the AMC Thread about these, and the positive Divergence.I've been buying more since below 5p and accumulating - I think there is a very good chance of 7p plus soon. Will review things at this point because if it does then it will have broken out and only the horizontal resistance will be left. Who knows where it could go!If you want a real long shot and this is how I calculated 40p as my target last time (shame i only sold 200k shares). Look at the 10 year chart and draw across the closing price peaks 13p, 19p, 42p..... somewhere above 50p is the target!

Pen - trendlines Hi Pen,I'm using trendlines in my saved watchlists (investing.com), but it seems pretty random whether or not it decides to save them for individual charts. Do you know if there's a trick to it?

Re: AMC cloud chart Sorry, wrong link. Here's the cloud chart showing it testing the breakout:[link]

penhome 28 May 2018

Re: AMC divergence Hi Sea BassYes, daily RSI has been trending up since late April. It's also just broken into an uptrend on the P&F daily chart. A move up to 6.50 would create a double top breakout. The February-May consolidation gives a horizontal count suggesting a target of around 10.25p. Maybe a bit ambitious, so I'll probably use 8.25 (75% of count) as initial target[link] cloud terms, it had three failed attempts to close above the cloud last week. It might make it this week as momentum seems to be building, just very slowly. Then resistance around 6.3 and 7.3.[link]

Crest Nomiee Accounts Hi All.Not sure how many of you heard about Beaufort Securities going to the wall. Very glad I didn't use them. Upshot has been that nominee holders are getting massively overcharged by PwC, the administrators, before getting some of their shares back.Share Soc is running a campaign to get people to write to their MP. I suggest you might want to do the same. Their draft letter is below. The website [link] massively simplifies the writing process.Dear xxxx,Please can you ask Greg Clark, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy to implement the Shareholder Rights Directive's clear intent that the end investor should be identified on the company register. This should include their email address, and they should be entitled to receive company information and annual reports, and to vote at company general meetings. See [link] for details. The UK law is at odds with the EU Directive. UK law defines a shareholder as the nominee (when shares are held in a nominee account) and not the end investor (ie. the individual investor like you or me). Note that the accounts offered by most UK brokerages and platforms place the account holders shares in a nominee account. At present, this is mandatory for ISAs and SIPPs. The UK law must be changed. However, to date, the UK Government and BEIS has been resistant to changing the UK legislation so as to meet the intent of the EU Directive. We now have a once in a decade opportunity to get this problem resolved. We must not let the opportunity slip.Your help in making this happen is most appreciated.Your sincerely[Your name]
