todays movements Ripley94: Sold a second tranche @ 11.25 am … highest i ever paid was 9p . Again i see marked as a buy… over 7% spread… near the best price so far of 9.4p with this one. Time and again sales are shown as buys and vice versa. Its been going on for years. Some sites have stopped labelling them as anything, just show the price and the number of shares. I’m following SLE’s buyback and posting daily … but I’ve noticed most larger trades shown on londonstockexchange.com are often shown twice with the exact same time etc. When SLE put out the next day’s RNS about the buyback it confirms they only bought one tranche. I’ve come to realise that many of the other buys and sells are doubled-up also. Londontockexchange.com need to get their acts together, its very confusing and bad info about volumes etc can lead to bad decisions.

todays movements Eadwig: I think we’re headed for 6 month highs at least here… Well I called that one right. a 1+ year high in fact. Sold a part tranche bought @4.8p 4 months ago for @9.6p this morning - +100% in 4 months. Profits put against my holding which is still a large 5 figures in total shares but now with a book value average of just @3.82p. (All buys and sells posted live elsewhere). The chart shows just how tradeable this stock is on newsflow. More to come with the E.V. charger demonstration due early December and their first real product to market. Hopefully any media interest wont be lost in general election noise. It could be. Would be nice if they could unveil a definite commercial contract on the same day - a chain of petrol stations or motorway services or something … they definitely are showing more savvy at P.R. unless the flurry of recent positive releases have been coincidence. The contract announcement same day is wishful thinking, but I do see that December demo as another catalyst for the price. If none meantime and it drifts down I may well re-add. Funny how every time I make a killing @Ripley94’s always there doing the same thing! You must have shares in just about everything!

More good news ... (!) I posted this elsewhere before the markets opened today … currently AFC is up 15% @8p, on top of recent steep rises… Another positive RNS released today. Primarily a system for internal use, it is now fulfilling many commercial metrics and could become another product line, essentially, in an existing market already measured over $1bn. Not to mention energy storage from the likes of wind and solar farms. (Coincidentally (?) this comes at the same time as TP Group’s announcement regarding systems to be installed on wind and solar farms to monitor the purity of hydrogen being stored). Ultimately another ‘jam tomorrow RNS’ with more testing to be done over probably another 12 months, but some early commercial application talks are already underway. More to the point, perhaps, is that AFC appear to be having a very upbeat and visible spate of news releases, as well as planning to update its web site. I wonder if this is all part of the run up to their hydrogen fuel cell E.V. recharging unit demonstration due within the month now (early Dec. from memory). It certainly seems like a concerted push. We’ll see if there is any impact on the price today from this one. I don’t expect it particularly. Some edited excerpts from the RNS today, which is very technical. My highlights. Eadwig AFC Energy PLC AlkaMemTM Anionic Exchange Membrane Opens New Markets for AFC Energy Highlights · AlkaMemTM has delivered market leading conductivity within an alkaline fuel cell environment. · AlkaMemTM set to be a truly disruptive technology in alkaline water electrolysis field with evidence supporting a sizable increase in hydrogen production efficiency. · Industrie De Nora S.p.A confirms AlkaMemTM performance “exceeded internal expectations” following independent validation testing at research facilities in Japan, endorsing the significant upside potential in alkaline water electrolysis applications. . Additional applications for AlkaMemTM include energy storage (Redox Flow batteries). · Prototype membrane manufacturing capability in place at AFC Energy’s Surrey headquarters. Opportunities · As a key component of the HydroX-Cell(S)TM alkaline fuel cell, opportunities across new market segments that AFC Energy were previously unable to penetrate. · Commercial enquiries received for prospective licensing or sale of AlkaMemTM membrane technology into non-fuel cell markets, including alkaline water electrolysis. · AFC Energy open to further expressions of interest from licensors and market development partners of the AlkaMemTM technology in non-fuel cell applications. · Global revenues from the sale of ionic membrane technologies, such as NafionTM used in Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells and electrolysers, estimated to be over US$1bn per annum. The key technology within AFC Energy’s HydroX-Cell(S)TM fuel cell platform is the anionic exchange membrane, AlkaMemTM. The AlkaMemTM solid membrane acts in the same manner as similar acidic membranes used in PEM fuel cells, with the distinct advantage of utilising a lower grade, and therefore lower cost, Hydrogen source. The value proposition for the AlkaMemTM membrane however extends well beyond the fuel cell. With applications in Alkaline Water Electrolysis (to generate Hydrogen), electro-dialysis, salt-splitting and energy storage (including Redox Flow batteries), the anionic membrane is relevant across several high value industries, offering excellent value for money. The AlkaMemTM technology potential was validated and tested at Industrie De Nora S.p.A research facilities in Japan in an Alkaline Water Electrolysis application. Initial testing of AlkaMemTM has shown the market leading potential of this membrane in this application when compared to alternative separators in the market today. Commenting on the AlkaMemTM testing undertaken in Japan, Christian Urgeghe, Chief Technical Officer at De Nora, said, A highly conductive and stable anionic exchange membrane opens up an array of technologies which De Nora currently have under development. Based on internal De Nora testing standards, the AlkaMemTM membrane technology exceeded internal expectations and has demonstrated the ability to offer significantly lower voltage drop when compared to current diaphragms. Having already established a prototype membrane manufacturing capability in Surrey, the Company is continuing initial integration testing and development with the HydroX-Cell(S)TM fuel cell programme. AFC Energy has commenced and welcomes new discussions with third parties interested in the commercial application of AlkaMemTM whether through licensing and / or co-development partners into non-competing fuel cell applications such as Alkaline Water Electrolysis. A key number of success criteria were identified for AlkaMemTM in advance of commercial sales with several of these already having been demonstrated, including conductivity, ion selectivity and operating temperatures. Focus in 2020 now resides in demonstrating the longer-term stability of the membrane across key market-based applications. NafionTM, a membrane developed for the PEM fuel cell market and other PEM based water electrolysis and electro-chemical processes, is understood to achieve annual sales in excess of US$1billion, confirming a significant market size for highly conductive membrane technologies. Adam Bond, Chief Executive Officer at AFC Energy, said “We have been working on the AlkaMemTM membrane over the past 24 months and have now made significant strides forward in demonstrating the commercial value this technology can bring to AFC Energy. From our technology development roadmap, we have been delighted by the number of commercial success criteria the AlkaMemTM technology has already evidenced both in fuel cell and alternative applications. We have also been encouraged by the early market interest shown in the product and its applications”. “With strong growth expected in alkaline water electrolysis in the coming years and the already evidenced expansion of energy storage, we believe AlkaMemTM, whilst initially developed exclusively “by us, for us”, offers a true value proposition which we will aggressively seek to exploit through a sales, partnership and licensing model with our customers.”

todays movements Ripley94: 24% Rise here today… i am up in this one overall Me too - are more rises today on another product development positive RNS. Note the pattern of rises BEFORE the announcements - very leaky I suspect, but might be a pattern to follow in the near future as more announcements are due before the end of the year. I think we’re headed for 6 month highs at least here… image.png674x545 21.4 KB

Can I be a dual citizen of the US and UK? Yes, it is definitely possible, under many different circumstances. Both countries grant citizenship by being born there - although since 1983 British law will only grant British citizenship to a person born in the UK if at least one of their parents is also a British citizen or is “settled” in the UK. The term “settled” means ordinarily resident and without any immigration restriction on their length of stay.
