by the way...re fake news... HI Artji You gained my respect by calling FLOW correct in May 2017. ( Primary Bid Fund Raise ) Did you ever buy AFC ?
todays movements Hello everyone, just so you all know about Waste2Tricity how they could affect AFC. From Waste2Tricity web site. Development Programmes In addition to its Deployment Projects Waste2Tricity also uses its expertise to advance development programmes to maximise returns for its shareholders. Facilities generating electricity by way of high temperature gasification (and thus producing clean syngas) have the potential to produce renewable hydrogen by separation from the syngas stream. This can in turn power new generation developmental fuel cells. The introduction of hydrogen fuel cells, replacing internal combustion engines/gas turbines, could increase system efficiency by up to an estimated 70%. Waste2Tricity has selected AFC Energy’s fuel cell system as having the greatest potential to be the most efficient, low cost technology for generating electrical power from gasified waste and in a £1 million deal, Waste2Tricity has acquired the exclusive deployment rights (for use in energy-from-waste applications) for AFC Energy fuel cells in the UK. For more on the W2T/AFC tie up. Waste2Tricity is also working with AIM quoted, PowerHouse Energy Group plc. PHE has developed the innovative PHE G3-UHt waste-to-energy, ultra-high temperature gasification reactor technology together with auxiliary waste and power solutions. This technology provides a mechanism to dispose of a wide range of waste streams by using them as feedstock that can be converted to synthesis gas (syngas) which in turn can be used to generate electricity for export to the grid or for use within an enterprise. Importantly the PHE gasifier has a small footprint and a commercial size starting at 25 tonnes a day, making them suitable for deployment at enterprise or community level. Having invested years into leading-edge scientific research and development, spending millions of dollars in testing and optimizing the core gasification technology, PowerHouse Energy is on the cusp of delivering its first commercial facilities to the world. Today's rns - World first hydrogen electric vehicle charger I don’t know tomtastic. This RNS from 18th October seems to suggest otherwise:[link] PowerHouse Energy Group plc (“PowerHouse†or the “Companyâ€) Operational Update PowerHouse Energy Group plc (AIM: PHE), the UK technology company pioneering hydrogen production from waste plastic and used tyres and developer of the DMG® System continues to seek additional commercialistion opportunities for its technology. In conjunction with its Project Development Partner, Waste2Tricity, Ltd(“Waste2Tricityâ€Â) , PHE has met with 2 substantial waste suppliers to advance negotiations, supply detailed technical information, discuss detailed operational matters, and explore realistic deployment opportunities interfacing with existing installations. Both negotiations have the possibility to lead to multiple DMG® System deployments, however at this stage there is no assurance that either of these, or any other, negotiations that Waste2Tricity are engaged in on behalf of PHE will come to fruition. PHE has also engaged with, and have provided significant technical detail to, a major UK-based, multi-national EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) company to support Waste2Tricity’s negotiations on behalf of both itself, and PHE, to obtain a system wrap and guarantee on the first deployment of the DMG® System and that these negotiations are ongoing. However, as previously stated, these, and other negotiations, may not result in reaching a satisfactory commercial agreement. Per our joint-development agreement of January 2017, PowerHouse Energy Group continues to support Waste2Tricity’s efforts in building a pipeline of commercially viable potential projects. PowerHouse yesterday announced the successful receipt of the Statement of Feasibility from DNV-GL under the RP-A203 Technical Assessment protocol."
Today's rns - World first hydrogen electric vehicle charger I doubt that, PHE aren’t expect to have their first full-size gasifier built until end of this year. Only if it actually works reliably can AFC / W2T think about combined deployments.
Today's rns - World first hydrogen electric vehicle charger Yep, this seems set to be a game changer for AFC and I am delighted my recent top ups are well in the money. Possibly the first of a number of operational updates from AFC too imho. The key question now is who will supply the hydrogen? My money’s on a tie up with PHE, as indicated in the post I put up on that board earlier. Stock there is showing some accumulation in advance of news and of course there’s the tie up with Toyota for electric vehicles too. Tot

Today's rns - World first hydrogen electric vehicle charger Thu, 17th Jan 2019 070 RNS Number : 3118N AFC Energy Plc 17 January 2019 The information contained within this announcement is deemed by the Company to constitute inside information as stipulated under the Market Abuse Regulations (EU) No. 596/2014. Upon the publication of this announcement via a Regulatory Information Service (“RISâ€), this inside information is now considered to be in the public domain. 17 January 2019 AFC Energy PLC (“AFC Energy†or the “Companyâ€) AFC Energy’s CH2ARGETM System Powers Up World’s First Hydrogen Electric Vehicle Charger AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), the leading alkaline fuel cell power company, today announced the successful demonstration of CH2ARGETM, the world’s first electric vehicle charger based on hydrogen fuel-cell technology. The breakthrough by the UK-based energy technology company previewed the potential to enable 100% clean electricity for future EV charging. The demonstration of the CH2ARGE unit took place at Dunsfold Aerodrome, home to the BBC Top Gear test track, and saw a BMW i8 as the first ever car to be recharged with power generated by a hydrogen fuel cell. The innovation takes place after 10 years of fuel cell research development at the AFC Energy laboratories. Having now demonstrated proof-of-concept of the CH2ARGETM prototype, AFC Energy is preparing for the commercialisation of fuel cell-based EV Charge solutions to meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly power in the EV market. Traditional charging causes pollution with electricity from fossil fuels, but AFC Energy’s CH2ARGE system can be 100% emissions free. With the rapid growth in the international EV market and ambitious Government targets for EV deployment over the short term, UBS, the global investment bank, has forecast the investment required in new charging infrastructure to be in the order of US$360bn over the next eight years. In the UK alone, were the Government to deliver on its policy of 50% of new car sales being EVs by 2030 and 100% by 2040, the National Grid forecasts there will be 36 million EVs on the road - up from c.200,000 today. If one in 10 of these EVs are being recharged simultaneously, the UK’s future fleet of 36 million EVs would have a forecast peak demand surge of 25.7 GW based on today’s average EV battery size: that’s almost 8 new nuclear power stations or 98 London Array offshore wind farms. This is before consideration is given to the requisite investment needed across the national transmission and distribution networks to handle potentially large surges in peak power demand. AFC Energy’s CH2ARGE system is working to provide a solution to these potential future challenges and its CH2ARGE unit has the potential to deliver locally-generated electricity through thousands of installations that generate 100% clean electricity. “By 2030, it is estimated that there could be nine million electric vehicles on the roads of Britain, up from 90,000 today,†said Adam Bond, Chief Executive Officer at AFC Energy. “For this transition, we need charging stations to be embedded throughout the country, as well as seeking innovative solutions to overcome the severe limitations of centrally generated electricity. By developing and previewing the effectiveness of our CH2ARGE system in the application of EV charging, AFC Energy has shown it is ready to lead the way not only in solving the challenges of increased demand for electricity, but also doing so in a zero emissions approach.†CH2ARGE incorporates AFC Energy’s proprietary hydrogen fuel cell system connected to an inverter similar to those used by Toyota at their Electric Vehicle research centre. The inverter transfers energy created by the fuel cell to a charger. The system on preview is supported by a 48V battery pack to assist with peak power demands. The solution can also be tailored for both on and off grid applications and scaled up as required. The fuel cell is sized to provide sufficient power to charge EVs concurrently and can be scaled up to provide solutions for mass recharging at supermarkets, retail venues and sports stadiums. The inverters are controlled via AFC Energy’s fuel cell control system which ensures the safe and precise control of the complete setup. Being integrated into AFC Energy’s control system means that product solutions can be implemented with Smart Charging capabilities. AFC Energy’s CH2ARGEsystem highlights the versatility and adaptability of the Company’s core fuel cell technology and builds on a number of announced and unannounced deployment opportunities currently under development by the Company. AFC closes in on fuel cell Happy new year theprior. AFC what will it do next? Could go anywhere now. We will have to wait, and see. I have changed my tactics after the stocks went up over the last few years, they now go all over the place. So I only have two now, VRS, and PHE. VRS went up a lot last year so not sure how long before they go up again for a new product. Just give it time . I bought mine at 70p. PHE huge gains coming sooner, or later. Most of my money is now in PHE, when it starts making its new equipment up she goes. I bought mine at 0.31p now it is at 0.57p I have added a lot more since 0.31p. It makes its Hydrogen at a cheap rate, about a third of the other companies. Plus it can make it where the plastic is available, ie Anywhere, a lot coming in Japan sooner, or later, then wold wide… Plus we shall have some here in the UK. That is IMO. Good luck. Loads.
