Re: Interims I agree it is the underlying EPS figure which counts - amortisations etc are always going to make the headline look poorer in a company in this industry.Net cash of £400m is a support to the dividend, though on the reduced cash-flow it looks as though the dividend will not be entirely covered by the annual free cash inflow.We knew these figures were going to be bad and the volume of shares traded doesn't look exceptional which to me indicates there is no enormous surprise in the market. What they say in the presentation currently under way will set the tone for the next move. My guess is we will consolidate around this level.

Re: Interims I know what you mean, but the UNDERLYING EPS covers it OK.· Underlying earnings per share 9.6p (-41%)· Interim dividend per share unchanged at 7.5p

Re: Interims Don't like the fact that the divi is not covered and there is not a massive chunk of cash headroom.I have sub 250p as a buy in price, hope to see that after we go ex div.

Interims Poor, but probably much as expected, with some promising hints of recovery. (Assets under management up, dividend held, their performance outperforming benchmarks.)It puts the current rating on a PE of about 15 which is probably about fair value; but one with a tasty yield of over 6%.

Re: ADN share buy/sold Looking good Soi. I am still long from 440p. Divi is good and I as these are in my SIPP I have essentially forgotten about them. If we dip below 250p again I'll double up. Also watching BDEV, target 517p.Having said that I am doing well with indices atm so not paying much attention to shares.ATB,JTT
