Re: VOD Please tell me what branch I can open a VODAFONE account? Ha ha ha very funny.
Re: VOD VOD . This is not a share, crazy man. Its a savings account. Big difference. Can you tell us what savings accounts you have and who with and what interest are you getting and what percentage of your overall portfolio they make??If you cant divulge this info to the intelligent readership of this bb then we have a problem with you. Its not enough for you to turn up here hurling abuse at me but providing no info about yourself. People will laugh at you, seriously, honestly. You are embarrassing.
Re: VOD He knows he's wrong but can't admit it so wants to change the subject. The broken trend super stoploss strategy for this share doesn't apply folks.
Re: VOD BTW we have discussed this topic on at least ten occasions in this bb over the past five years. It has, therefore, become tedious and boring.Weve flogged this horse to death already. Everybody knows my views on this. It genuinely has become boring.Have some other topic to chat about please. If you havent, then keep SCHTUM as Im not intending to reply to this issue again. Ten times are enough.Hahahahahaha
Re: VOD WARNING, THIS IS A SERIOUS POST NOT FOR IDIIOTS. PLEASE SKIP IF YOU WISHIm not sure I understand what people are saying here. VOD went ex dividend today thus the sp drop was expected. Im getting £1,340 in dividends on August 3rd which will be reinvested in cheap VOD shares. Cushty.I closed my nationwide building society savings account many years ago. I transferred the money into VOD shares. The yield is 5.6% for VOD v 1.2% for the build soc.VOD sp?? I dont give a hoot because Im not selling for another 15 years. I dont look at the sp. VOD is not a share I hold, it is my equivalent to a building society savings account only it pays a better interest. If I didnt do this and looked at the sp only, I will end up having no savings. And with my VOD holding Im getting around 15% annualised returns from dividends reinvested. Now the sp being low is advantageous to me because Ill get more shares from dividends re invested and because Im not a seller. Im thus a happy bunny. Does this make sense??The share prices of LLOY and BDEV in my portfolio follow similar patterns. Combined, all three companies holdings account for around 12% of my portfolio and they sit comfortably in my Income Pot in my portfolio. The other 88% of my portfolio is invested in a different style ie where the share price does matter. Does this make sense??I dont think I need all 100% of my money invested in share prices, just my take on things. Its nice to have 12% there purely for income. Does this make sense? It will to sensible people IMO.I hope all this helps.BTW tell me about your savings. Is ALL your money in the stock market?? All of it?? No savings accounts at all?? Really?? Do you spend your afternoons in a betting shop??Thats too risky for me Im afraid. It wont do for me at all. Im a medium risk-taker thus I have to have a savings vehicle and VOD shares provide that.As Del Boy would say to you guys dont be a plonkker all your life RoddersHaHaHa HaHaHa P.S. I miss spelt a word at the top to get this post past iii filter.
