Re: Exciting new acquisition It's a cracking share and I'm excited about what this will/can bring to ACSO. Still stinks how the market walked the SP down 400p from its recent high to land pretty much smack bang on the placing price! Having said that at least pi's that weren't privy to the placing can purchase stock for little premium to the lucky ii's.

Re: Exciting new acquisition New interview with Tom:[link] (1) TE2 are already in new sectors to ACSO like cruises, hospitality - and "fast food", which would be very exciting (2) TB says "everything is good" as regards core business tradingTB concludes by saying that this is a good example of 1+1=3, i.e the sum of the individual parts for this deal being greater than the simple numbers due to the overlap and synergies.I think that's a very good way of summing this deal up, and can understand why the institutions put up £59m so quickly. It doesn't take much imagination to see the potential - and it's earnings-enhancing too.

Re: Exciting new acquisition Interesting articles about how TE2 have already put their software into wearable bracelets on Carnival's cruise ships which order drinks and unlock doors etc - and their ambition to expand to other sectors, such as hospitals, education, hospitality.....[link]

Exciting new acquisition Certainly an exciting-looking acquisition of an extremely complementary business - plus marginally earnings-enhancing in the first year post-acquisition and presumably strongly earnings-earnings subsequently.:[link] 1620p placing price to finance it is pretty good based on the current share price - but I suspect the recent drift down is because institutional investors stopped their buying as they knew something was in the offing. There's also a very positive section on current trading:"Current tradingFurther to the AGM statement published on 23 May 2017, the first part of the 2017 financial year has started strongly, with all parts of the business generating good momentum. As is normal for the Company, around 38% of the year has been traded to date. The integration of the Ingresso acquisition made in March 2017 continues to progress well and in line with management's expectations, whilst the Merlin Entertainment roll-out also continues to plan. TE2 also continues to trade strongly as expected for a high growth business, with underlying revenue growing significantly during the first 5 months of 2017 versus the same period the previous year. The Board remains entirely focused on continuing to deliver value for shareholders."

Acquisition There's been an RNS announcement of a substantial acquisition after the close of trading today.I wonder what this will mean for the share price in the short term but have little doubt that it will prove to be very astute in the ling run - a further step on way to ACSO becoming a global major force in it's chosen sphere of activity.

Terrific AGM statement today Very encouraging...- a "strong" start to the year- loads of new contract wins, including a biggie re Xcaret's 7 attractions in Mexico, which are hugely popular (I've been to one of them myself!) and others like CNN and the NFL experience- the global Merlin rollout is going well- the Ingresso acquisition looks goodAnd importantly:"We have also completed our first accesso LoQueuesm installation featuring our accesso Prism technology and expect the system to go-live imminently."I think we all know what this refers to! We should expect a big RNS in the next week or so imo.....
