Re: profit per share - someone's maths n... Hi Richard, not sure why you are shifting the decimal place everywhere in your calculations... can result in mistakes......But perhaps ive made a mistake. Here are my calculations based on 1/4 report and share ownership information held in tab. Please tell me where I am wrong....Total sales for 1/4 = 4,866 ozProfit per oz = (average price of gold/silver sold = $1,433 less cost of production = $612) = 821 per OzProfit on production of 4,866 oz = $3,994,986We own circa 50% = $1,997,493Convert to £ = (multiply by 0.74) = £1,478,144Divide by number of shares = 1,059,680,000Totals £0.001394 per share, or ...... 0.14p NOT 1.4p.Richard please let me know where ive gone wrong........(albeit I guess 0.14p is much better than the 0.1p I originally worked out (did not include sale of Silver....)
Re: profit per share - someone's maths n... if you read 1/4 report all the numbers i have used are there apart from $to £and shares in cuculation.you will find that on the company web site or posts i have posteed in the last week
Re: profit per share - someone's maths needs... i will show you the maths .4866ozx$1434per ozat a production cost $612 per oz gives a profit for the jv of $399852convert to £294753.88.our 51%=£150324.47dived by shares =1.41858.sorry mate my maths do not lie
profit per share - someone's maths needs chekin Whilst im happy with production / developments, I don't agree with the analysis of 1.4p per share profit, think someone needs to review their maths. The profit for the quarter for the JV was less than $7m and our company is worth £14m, so that alone tells me the profit per share is significantly less than the share price.....When taking into consideration:a) were talking about production for the 1/4 not the year...b) we only own 50% of the revenues for the JVc) its in $ not £I come up with nearer 0.1p profit for Ariana per share for this 1/4.If this was replicated for the rest of the year it suggests a profit of circa 0.4p against a share price of 1.4p. This would be amazing for an established / stable company, but we only have a proven mine life of circa 8 years, we will need to spend money on drilling to increase our resources.Im intending to be a long term holder, hoping for a big payoff, but I can only see this happening when we start producing more gold, identify more resources, and don't hit any unexpected roadblocks. Im prepared to take that gamble and have recently added, but this is not an investment for widows and orphans....
Re: profit per share in pence "the profit per share for ariana for this 1/4 only is 1.41858pence and you can buy at 1.4p" - does a share price of 1.4p mean that these are an absolute bargain? My view is that the market doesn't give away bargains, so the low sp suggests to me that there must be some risk that is holding the price down, but we can't see it. It's hiding in the woodpile, that word that we aren't allowed to use any more.
profit per share in pence the profit per share for ariana for this 1/4 only is 1.41858pence and you can buy at 1.4p

Re: kingston resources in which we have a st... Highlights include: Major diamond drilling campaign begins at the Misima Gold Project Phase 1 to focus on resource extensions and new exploration targets KSN on track to complete earn-in to 70% during Q3 2018Kingston Resources Limited is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at the Misima Gold Project. The major diamond drilling campaign is targeting extensions to the existing 2.8Moz gold resource and drill-testing of newly discovered exploration targets at Umuna East Side. Kingston anticipates drilling 10,000m this year. This will be the first gold exploration drilling on Misima for more than 15 years. The arrival of freight barge MV Sea Swallow at Misima in late April was an historic event welcomed by the local community.Managing Director Andrew Corbett commented: "Were very excited to be underway with our drilling program. To commence drilling within six months of acquiring Misima is a testament to the Kingston team and a strong demonstration of the support the operation is receiving from the local community. Kingston is thankful for the support from the Misimans who are keen to see the project advancing and have worked with the Company to get drilling started."
kingston resources in which we have a stake are just comencing a drill in campain for gold .asx listed
Feedback remarks on ADVFN Its good to see a bit of volume today after a strong RNS and a very encouraging Investors evening.Kerim was relaxed and we were given as long as we needed to fully understand the many strings to the Ariana bow. Two hours is pretty intense and meant nothing was glossed over. I dont think Ive been to a presentation where there was such an informed and supportive audience. That is reassuring as there are clearly many long term holders with sizeable exposure who are all in it for the long game and the sizeable rewards that we all look forward too. Sorry more couldnt make it. It was worth the effort.
