88 Energy - Ultra High Impact Drilling Q1 2020 Just to confirm the rig move schedule on the highway, will be complete today. On Saturday, Feb. 22, at 4 a.m., Accumulate Energy Alaska, Inc., in partnership with Cruz Construction and Nordic, will begin moving a large drill rig on the Dalton Highway from Deadhorse to mile 386. The move is anticipated to last through Sunday, Feb. 23, at 9 a.m. Traffic will not be able to pass the drill rig during the move. The rig is large enough that it requires both lanes of the highway to travel and it will be traveling at low speeds. Drivers should anticipate lengthy delays. Road closures will be established during the move to control traffic. Over the two day move, the drill rig will pull into pullouts in three locations and waiting traffic will be permitted to travel through. These are the locations and anticipated times: Depart Deadhorse at 4 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 Pullout at mile 412.7, road open from 7 a.m. – 100 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 Pullout at mile 404.9, road open from 5 – 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 Pullout at mile 400.9, road open from 9:30 – 11 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 Open road at mile 386.7, 9 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 23 Moving the drill rig from the pullout at mile 400.9 to mile 386 will require a road closure lasting approximately 10 hours. This is the longest continuous closure. Mats will be utilized on the highway to protect infrastructure and emergency access is being coordinated with first responders. The drill rig will return to Deadhorse in mid-April, the return trip will also impact traffic. As soon as dates of the return trip are finalized they will be announced. [link] So looks like all is still going as planned - should mean an RNS is coming Monday 17th Feb at the very latest to say Rig Move underway. Might get an RNS this week to say Ice Road complete and rig move over the weekend.

The oil & gas firm had said on Wednesday it was planning a capital raise. 88 is placing 238.1 million new shares in the company at a price of AUD0.021 each, raising the AUD5.0 million, or about GBP2.6 million. 88 shares were 3.6% higher on Friday morning at 1.30 pence, but did slip on Wednesday. In Sydney, they closed 7.7% lower at AUD0.024, having been suspended there between Wednesday and when the placing announcement was made in Sydney. The money will be used to fund ongoing work on assets in Alaska. 88 has a 60% stake in the Icewine project on the North Slope, as well as interests on Alaska’s Western Blocks and Yukon Gold. Work currently ongoing includes the upcoming Charlie-1 appraisal well. 88 will also use the funding to pay lease rental payments, pay off interest on debt, and fund new ventures. Managing Director Dave Wall said: "The decision by the board to raise additional funds at this time was for several reasons, namely: unsolicited demand for investment at a premium to the most recent placement in September 2019; and a subsequent incremental increase in the well cost due to high grading of the quality of the evaluation program. “We would like to thank our advisers and shareholders for their continued support as we enter into this critical phase.” The firm raised GBP3.8 million last September, placing shares at the same price as the current placing.
