Re: @289p The US court case that may open up online sports betting was in early Dec. US developments always seem to take a long time for 888 so I won't hold my breath but I will wait and see.

Re: @289p The rise from around 250 has been steady and relentless never falling back by more than a few pence. It's a dilemma isn't it? I am hoping that there will be further consolidation and 888 will be part of it.

Re: @289p I can't decide whether the SP rise is due to speculation that 888 is one of the last pieces of the jigsaw so some take over or merger must happen in due course, or whether there is genuinely something brewing. If it is the former then I should sell out and buy back when the speculation subsides and the price is back to 250, but if it is the later then I should hold for the 30% buy out premium. Where did I put my lucky coin?

@289p .. as I write. See that Black Rock have taken a stake. Probably only a bit more to go for now so only a Weak BUY today.

Buying opportunity! Today's announcement bringing as it has a fall in the sp is a buying opportunity. Seems to me that the business is now more highly focussed and attempting to be regulatory compliant. Then there is the matter of a possible bid. (I am posting using an iPad and the Strong Buy button is obscured on the screen).
